You can never go wrong with King Taco. I've been coming to this location for a few years, and it's great. Highly recommend taco spot. My go-to is the sopes and burritos.

There is not a bad thing to say. But in the meat. I wouldn’t insist that anyone should eat here. I ordered a taco and had the option between a beef or steak.(which they insisted that ground beef was the same as steak.) .. Further along .. I get the taco and the meat was abnormally a darker color than any normal meat and had a completely different soft texture than both beef and steak. If it were not for the onions and cilantro I would have spat it out and while eating it I considered that something by was off. And I didn’t want to waste it, or be petty enough to return it for the money so I gauped it down. But I was sick in the stomach and felt poison in the heart for at least a little over 24 hours then it subsided . Had to be like something we don’t associate with animals.. and it made me not want to try a new restaurant.. because a taco is almost impossible to get wrong . But the toppings would have made it best if the meat was not poisonous. For the money and you a little on the wild camping side and will eat just about anything.. go! If not .,, take your chance. And they don’t speak English well.. I know a poisonous meat when I feel it going through my body.. at healing rate.. I been there ..

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this place is how stingy they are with the red sauce. I got a burrito, 4 tacos, 4 tamales and 2 carne asada quesadillas. And they only gave me 4 red sauces. When I asked for more the lady preparing my order gave me attitude. I understand that not everyone accepts an explanation but I would have if given the opportunity. I wasn't afforded the opportunity and instead left with a bad experience at the place. Can't say I'd recommend. Only for those who are willing to put aside getting good service.

Grew up with the Baldwin Park, El Monte, and East LA that are larger and more busy, IYKYK, and I’ve always been happier with the those locations than the Glendale location. I’m even happy with the Pasadena location, but I leave the Glendale location unhappy or disappointed about half the time. I live in the San Fernando valley and would rather drive past Glendale to one of the further locations than go to this one again. Waited about 20 minutes for 4 tacos and 1 tamale before going up to ask about my order. No one had the ticket order nor did anyone want to take responsibility for it, the only things I heard when they were asking around was “it was probably thrown away” and “I don’t know anything about it”. Took almost a full minute of everyone either looking standing around looking confused or going back to what they were doing before someone finally prepped my order. The food was just okay. Did not receive any type of apology, refund, or complementary anything.

Today I ordered 2 sopes and 1 burrito and it was very disappointing. Without exaggeration I literally got about 1 tablespoon worth of carne asada meat on my 2 sopes and burrito. Please check your food prior to leaving to see if a reasonable amount was given to you. First time experiencing this issue and believe me when I say little to none.

Don't know when this new location opened. Excellent tacos, with enough oil to lightly fry the tortillas. Parking may be a little discouraging because of the walk, but we'll worth it.

I visit King Taco infrequently & it was my first time to this location. I guess the pandemic may have caused them to change. People were not friendly nor helpful. The sope was hard & not flavorful, nor was the meat though the green salsa helped a bit, the meat ought to be flavorful! The Jamaica so-so, however I was hungry & thirsty. My mom would make gorditas & when she fried the masa it was tasty & pliable and we'd top with meat, onions, cilantro & a little lettuce...guess I'm spoiled.
