We came for the pollo a la brasa that the other location had, but the server let us know that it’s no longer served here. We both got the Lomo Saltado with Tallarin, my green one is with a lemony verde sauce and his was a cheesy. The food was delicious and you even get free breadsticks! We went on a not so busy weekday and a nice young man checked up on us to make sure everything was okay!Prices: 7/10 (we paid almost $30 a person per plate and that seems a high.)Food: 8/10 (the other Lola’s is known for their pollo a la brasa which isn’t served at this location anymore!

I recently ordered takeout from Lola's, hoping for an authentic Peruvian culinary experience, but sadly, it fell short. The food lacked the vibrant flavors I expected, especially the green aji sauce, which not only failed to capture the traditional taste but also had an off-putting yellow-green color. The portions in the lomo saltado were meager, and the steak was cut into tiny pieces, leaving much to be desired. Although the live music added a nice touch, the overall vibe felt more like a gentrified rendition of Peruvian cuisine. I might return for drinks and ambiance, but for genuine Peruvian flavors, I'll be looking elsewhere. If you're craving authentic aji verde sauce, here's a recipe tip to try at home: **Aji Verde Sauce Recipe:** - 1/2 bunch Cilantro - 1 garlic clove - 1/2 bunch of Parsley - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1/2 cup of mayo - 2 serrano peppers - 10 mint leaves - 1 lime - 2 tbsp queso fresco - ¼ tsp salt - 1 1/2 tbsp of aji paste Hopefully, this recipe can satisfy your craving for the real Peruvian flavors that were missing from my experience at Lola's.

Good expensive food, but the service of employees way below the average, I ask for a refill of cup a water and never got it, I waited and waited and asked to three different employees and none of them got it for me....

This place is cute and also clean. I would like to disclose the Peruvian food is a gem and it is known for its exceptionally fresh and bold ingredients. Unfortunately, the flavors of the food here did not taste fresh. From the appetizers to main plates the season was off and watered down. There was also 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. I know times are tough but that never sits well with me when one person is in charge of an entire restaurant. It really makes the experience of eating stressful since the stress and anxiety of workers seeps to the customers. I also think that Peruvian food in any other mom and pop shop that is much cheaper might taste better. I don't think I'd like to return .

I planned a lunch meal here to meet a friend based on the published hours on the restaurant's website. It turns out that they open 30 minutes later than their website says. I called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone wasn't the least bit understanding. In fact, he chose to argue with me. I'm never coming here. Fix your website and don't treat customers like inconveniences.

Visited Lola's for dinner on a Saturday evening and this was the best meal we had on our trip! The pasta dish with Lomo Saltado was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!! Also there was a singer there that totally sang my child's favorite song to the T! Thank you!! I never caught her name but we were all so impressed with her talent!! That really made our night. What a fabulous experience. This place is IT!!!

I went to eat from Palmdale because Peruvian food was recommended to me but the truth is I was disappointed I ordered a lomo saltado the meat was still bloody and super salty we ordered a Milanese with green spaghetti and it was super bad and for starters a fried squid that was not I couldn't even bite it because of how thick it was. I will never return to that place again. The waitress very kindly offered to change my food but next to me was a table that still complained about the food. I preferred to pay my bill and leave the place. We didn't eat anything. I usually never publish anything but it doesn't seem fair to me that someone is going to want to have a pleasant time and the food is super bad. Now I understand why I was alone. If they continue like this, they are going to lose their customers. like your work and do it with love

Back in the day during my food service years on Brand, I would often venture out to scope the competition and try my palette at a wide variety of cuisine. One particular place was Lola's. A small and cozy restaurant tucked away between other restaurants and stores. Easy to miss but worth finding. I have my usual Peruvian dish - Lomo Saltado. An absolute great balance of protein, carbs, and veggies. The dish is a master of blanch with the savory, tender beef, oily fries, the crunch of onions and veggies, all brought together with rice. Add some of their Aji Verde (green hot sauce) and you're in. Although I've had better sauce at other establishments. My wife got a seafood pasta. I thought it was good but a bit salty. However, my wife felt it had a strong seafood aftertaste, which is surprising because she loves seafood and the fishiness of many dishes. We did bring the leftovers home and after adding other ingredients, she did say it was good. We also ordered their fish ceviche and this was good. I can drink the entire juice from the bowl. The acidity and tenderness of the fish, along with the crunch of onion and corn, is a must try. Make sure you order the Inca Cola. This is better than butter beer! Service here is always friendly and staff is very welcoming. If you're in the mood for any of the above or other great dishes, like their pasta and steak pairing, go ahead and give this place a try!

We had some great Peruvian food over the uears and had high expectations and hopes for Lola's. We had 3 Lomo Saltado plates and 1 Pescado Saltado plate. The Pescado Saltado plate was super good. The bread, butter, and Aji sauces were also very good. The quality of the meat used in the Lomo Saltado was excellent. The service, location, and ambiance was also very good. The Lomo was too salty for our taste and did not have the explosion of savory flavors usually found in this dish. None of our plates came with a side of Aguadito de Pollo soup which surprised us especially given the much higher price we paid as compared to other Peruvian Restuarants that include it. They also do not have rotisserie chicken, which some of us were hoping for. Given the higher price and taste, we do not expect to return unless accompanying others who choose to try.

BETTER THAN MAMITA'S After trying both, I can say that this place is much better! The beef in the Lomo Saltado melts in your mouth. It is tender and juicy and the flavor is delectable. There is a good variety of veggies, and the fries are not soggy (like a certain other restaurant...) The service was good too. It was nice of them to give us a plate of extra free plátanos fritos! Everything had a nice presentation. The restaurant is pretty too. :)

The music and band was really nice, very fun and lively. The server was really quick and polite. To me the food was average. But I would still come again. It was a nice environment.

I would like to start by explaining I have only eaten there once, but the one experience I had did not make me want to rush back. The food was perfectly fine, but nothing to write home about; the things that I found to be a turn off were 1) considering how empty the restaurant was when we ordered our food it took a very long time to arrive and in general, I didn't find the wait staff to be all together very friendly or engaging or knowledgeable. 2) I also didn't really love the ambience; they have these flashing lights that were kind of dizzying to sit under and then in the evening time they had a solo singer (who as lovely), but made everything really loud and very hard to sit and have a conversation. This is fine in the right setting, but this is a pretty small restaurant and then to have a loud singing performance in a small space where the vibe seems more like an "intimate have a quiet dinner and a chat with friend" vibe, it was really throwing me and my friend off to have this loud performance drowning us out. I actually watched quite a few people eat their food and leave quickly because you could tell that that is not what they were there for. If a friend of mine wanted to eat there, I wouldn't argue with them the food was fine, but I would not rush to go back.

We were in town for the LA Car show and on our last day of the trip, had lunch with family. We were originally going to go to Puro Sabor, but decided on this restaurant at the last minute. When we got there around noon on November 21st, they had just opened and appeared to have had a party the night before. There were many dirty glasses all over the bar and on the mini stage they had set up. All of the tables were dirty and before we sat down we had to ask the server to clean them. The server was inattentive, and provided very slow service. It seemed like he might have also been cooking some of the items and preparing other things as he would disappear for long periods of time. It would take 10 minutes to fulfill a simple request, if he even remembered them. We had to stay on top of him every second to make sure we just received simple condiment requests. After asking for mayo a few times, and him forgetting to give it to us, we asked him a third time, and he seemed flustered, stating they did not have any mayo at all, which was odd, because when we first asked for it, he said ok. Maybe he did not understand the request at first. After waiting for a bit, our food came out, but my dad, who simply ordered a salad with chicken breast, got his order well after everyone else. It was also sent out without the chicken... They did still charge us though, until we pointed this out. We never asked for the chicken breast because if we did, it would take them another hour or so for the order to be delivered and we had already waited for a while.Overall, the food was actually pretty good, but the server seemed like he was struggling to provide any sort of service. I would probably not come back to this restaurant due to that and the cleanliness of the restaurant. At no point did he ever remove any of the many dirty glasses at the bar or leftover soda from the stage. We spent over $200 here and had a horrible experience as they should have at least had the restaurant tidied up before opening.
