I visit this special place once a month since I like the special air that is outline this place. The personel is exceptionally helpful and qualified. The service is extremely fast. Most important, the food they serve is perfect. I visited often and I was always pleased. The payment is fair. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

This review is solely for the delivery service. I haven't tried dining in yet, so I will update my review as soon as I visited the place. The food is good, but not only it arrived soooo late it was also cold. I was a bit disappointed. Thanks anyway to the very nice and apologetic salesperson over the phone. I'll give three stars, for now, hoping this will change soon.

The restaurant had no heat. We sat with our coats on. The food was less than acceptable. We both felt ill after eating there. A horrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone!

Dropped in, after a long absence, to specifically order corn soup. Was not disappointed...it tasted as good as it always had. I also ordered mabu tofu and it also was good, though a little spicy. I was amazed to see NO ONE there at about 6PM on a Friday night. Sure don't understand that. I was a touch disappointed that they did not offer a Chinese Chicken Salad on their menu..they should rethink that decision.

Ordered delivery last night and got food poisoning from the broccoli beef.

Best orange chincken I've ever had. Atmosphere is outstanding and the wait staff goes to the extreme to ensure your every need is taken care of.

This place is kind of a bummer as it has potential but has somewhat failed to deliver. Super good food but ownership/management has flopped over the past few years. Get delivery/takeout...the dine in ambiance is pretty lackluster and almost creepy but their delivery is pretty solid and food is really good. Price is a bit steep and their hours recently have been a bit strange which leads to the one less star review.

This is like one of the best Chinese food places. I absolutely love the Chow Mien here. I wasn't expecting much from a small restaurant like this, but I was wrong. I really recommend this place if you like chinese food. The staff here is great. Quick to take your order and bring it to you. Thank you for the great food!

Seems that this place has been around a while and gone through many changes and a few owners. It is quite fancy now, and the food is very good, but we were the only ones in there at 6 pm on a Friday night! But the phone was ringing and people came in to pick up take-out, and then a few more groups came in to eat. Maybe a little high priced but we had a Groupon or Living Social coupon making it very reasonable. No liquor, in fact we didn't see any drinks on the menu but I'm sure they have tea because we had tea cups.

My husband and I have been coming here for 21 years. They have changed owners 4 times! I miss the previous owners because they actually try to get to know you, ask how you are, ask if you like the food....The people who have moved in since the beginning of summer are extremely rude and surly. When we come in, there is a man wearing sweat pants and sandals who actually hides beneath the cash register so he doesn't have to acknowledge us. When we try to say "hi" to the female server, she doesn't direct us to a table. In fact, she could care less about saying "hi" and a quick acknowledgment that we have been there several times before! We had NO silverware OR chopsticks.....we had to ASK for them...the surly waitress gave me a side eye and told me to "wait a second". I thought that there was supposed to be some eating utensil on the table. The egg drop soup tasted salty and tepid. No flavor whatsoever! The main dishes were average, but the rudeness of the owners just flummoxed me.....the server wore flip flops and yoga pants. This looks dangerous and well as sloppy and totally unprofessional. She looks tired and totally uninterested in her customers....you have to ask for EVERYTHING.....hot mustard? utensils? more water? Fortune Cookie? She NEVER comes back to the table to ask YOU, the paying customer, what you may want. When we are finished with our mediocre lunch, we had to find the server to ask her for the check. We even had to ask for extra napkins. We have been going here for 21 years, because we desperately need a good Chinese restaurant in Glendale/Montrose/La Crescenta. We have watched it switch hands 4 times. Yesterday was absolutely THE VERY LAST DAY I will ever go there. Why should I give my hard earned money to tepid soup and extremely poor communication and service? On the sign outside, the "I" has fallen out of the sign, and they don't fix it. Extremely neglected and old. At least the previous owners played classical music. Now, there is NOTHING to listen too, even though they have a TV and music speakers. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Save your money and go somewhere else! Let me make a prediction........this place will either go out of business or sell the establishment to someone else. And, hey, you guys deserve it. Yes, you deserve to go out of business because you do not care for your clients.......CARE A LITTLE...it goes a LONG WAY if you want to save your business.

Quality Chinese food and a hidden gem in the La Canada/Montrose area. The decor is a bit outdated but the dishes are yummy and fresh. You'll get more more for your buck here. Lunch menu is great! This is our go to place when we don't feel like venturing out to San Gabriel valley.
