The food was very low quality and too much mayonnaise came with their sushi which was very disappointing. Also, they charged 18% tip automatically even for 2 people and we didn't even get a glass of water until we asked for it towards the end of our dinner

Gorgeous sunset views and great food and cocktails. Huge portions. Branzino was perfectly cooked. Lamb was pretty good - wish it came with a sauce. Service was excellent on the restaurant side, a little slow in the lounge but the big comfy couches and cozy fire pit make it worth the wait.

This place has potential based on the location and view. The setting of the dining area is very standard, could use more styling, make it more lounge type of place. The food was mediocre. Was excited to try it, but didn't meet my expectations.

I would say that my review was on a few factors. Unfortunately it was raining so it made the roof top experience a little hard to enjoy. I think if the weather was better it would have been enjoyable. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. The won ton tacos were okay and the roll we order was pretty basic and nothing to brag about. The staff worked really hard for everyone at the restaurant under the conditions of the weather so I cant blame them. Drinks were excellent but I don't if I would consider going back with the menu offerings. Just did not stand out to us based on foods. If they do other things to enhance the evening with entertainment that may get us back.

View was nice, I wish they didn't have the clear plastic tents though. There was also a big party that was there during our visit. Might explain the experience, but I don't think it would be a good excuse. However, things kinda went down hill after. We were given an updated menu 10 min after we seated. Took a bit for someone to get our order after the drink order was taken. The menu stated bone-in ribeye which the steak was not. I had to get it replaced since it was over cooked. The veggies on the steak dish were also burned. The sea bass was burned, but I didn't ask for a replacement and just ate it. Sea bass was decent. The sushi dishes were good. I would mainly recommend the snapper. The salmon tasting nigiri I thought was not worth the price. The pistachio cake was good. I came here for my anniversary and was deeply disappointed (no one wished us a happy anniversary either).

My fiancée and I had dinner at MYA. The food was very delicious, the service was good, however, I had to ask at least 4 people that I ordered Diet Coke. I also ordered 2 desserts from their dessert menu but both were not available. Overall experience was good. I'm having our rehearsal dinner there in May, and I hope that the service will be exceptional.

The MYA Rooftop was good over all , we went on a Thursday( 02/29/2024) night , but an hour of being there the lights went complete off and never came back on . the kitchen shut down due to no power , but our food just made it out before the lights went out . if it wasn't for the amazing food that still made our night good we would of asked for a discount due to eating in the dark lol. i would still come back here in the spring or summer great food ,good service .

We enjoyed an evening at MYA Rooftop. The rooftop was cozy due to the many outdoor heaters they had, thank you. Nice Glendale views ...we had spent the day at the Norton Simon Museum so it was a perfect spot to enjoy a very well balanced meal. Service was smooth, Noah did a good job + the whole staff and ambience was sweet.

Pretty place, great view. Sushi is good but what sucks is on Tuesday's they don't serve sushi even though menu states steak and sushi. Service is kinda slow you have to flag down the waiter even though place might be empty. Hookah is good and I love how they come around with the charcoal without having to ask for it. It is a bit of a pricey place especially the additional charges they put on your bill and no matter how many people you are there with they charge 18% for tip. Kinda crazy because usually most restaurants charge the fee when you are 6 or more.

Food was okay, what we got to try. Our server talked to another table for half and hour so we never got to order more than appetizers. Asked for "no smoking" but it doesn't matter where you sit. If someone is smoking you will feel like you did too.

I was disappointed with the change of the menu. However, we found a few things that my family and I was able to enjoy. The service was good, everyone was attentive. Im not sure if I would return anytime soon, but it was overall ok.

Just visited here for the first time. Slightly odd location for a mid rise hotel but OK, I'll go with the flow and the locals here. They offer valet but plenty of free street parking up and down Brand in close proximity at night. Take the lift to the Rooftop and you'll find a large area situated with table and couch sectionals. My group had cocktails and hookah - both were fine and as to be expected. The views are eh as it's covered with rain tenting and the service was as to be expected. The ambiance was interesting. I can see why the locals love this location however for me, not sure its worth a drive out unless meeting locals there.

This place is horrible the name of the place Maya, sushi and steak and they don't have a steak they're out of it. And the hookah it's kinda pricey, it's $45 each plus tax and we have to chase them for charcoal overall I end up not eating anything because they don't have a steaks :(
