I used to love the old Panos in Hollywood with its variety of sumptuous desserts, all kinds of baklava freshly made and ghraibeh and all kinds of chocolates to feast the sight and appetite. It used to be like going into a dessert and confections city of delectable sins. Too bad they closed the famous bakery and gave the name to this tiny hole in the wall in Glendale that probably buys its baklava from grocery stores where it's aged on the shelves and the pistachios and walnuts taste rancid. When I walked into the store in Glendale, I was in total shock at what a tiny selection they had. My Middle-eastern grocery store has a much larger variety but I wanted to go to a specialty store thinking it would be like the old in Hollywood. What a disappointment this Panos Pastry was and a heartache! The baklava was glued to the tinfoil tray because it was so old and came out in squished tiny pieces. The sprinkled nuts were old and everything tasted burnt. Unfortunately, we had spent a hundred dollars on the baklava thinking to send it as gifts for Christmas but that's not going to happen. I called Panos Pastry in Glendale to complain but they would not take back the baklava nor exchange the six trays for fresher ones. I'm so sorry that I even insisted on going there because of the good reputation of the previous one. Too bad I didn't know any that could compare to it. Please don't frequent this new Panos Bakery in Glendale for it would be a waste of your money and time.

If you want the best halawat al jibn in town, go to Panos! We love family businesses and this is one of our faithful stops. Any excuse I can make to go out of my way, I will. Their Armenian coffee is also excellent as are their ghourabia cookies.

Shame on you guys!!! We bought pastry from here and brought it home it wasn't the next day till I noticed 2 of them are rotten !!!! They mixed in couple old ones with the newly baked ones and sold them just so they don't throw it out !!! Shame on you trying to save some money and give people rotten pastry to eat! People trust you guys but this is the last visits to your bakery.. will post picture of it

I ordered a pink cake for my daughter's birthday. But they made a pale pink almost white cake. We were very upset. In addition, inside the cake were wooden sticks to prevent the cake from falling apart. As soon as they got their wands the cake collapsed. Many many cream. I will not order more from them in my life.
My husband went early Sunday morning and purchased a tray of my favorite pastry and they gave him a tray old batch which i found out after taking a bite (the cream tasted sour) Just because someone walks in blind sided to get something doesn't mean he should be taken advantage of, i could care less about the $20-$25 dollars spent , just so disappointed that they lie to customers i will never step into this businesses again. Panos pastry you lost a client for life.
