Garbage bakery. Do not buy anything. We ordered a cake and it melted and collapsed before the party and tasted artful, its like someone mixed sugar with mud. Absolute trash.Wouldn't even feed it to a starving dog.

There was more than one reason why I don't set foot inside this bakery, n this just got added to my list. One of my family members just purchased a box of pastries and this is what we got. I'll let the photo speak for itself.

It's truly appalling to read all of the untoward and racist comments, that are being inferred about the "people" who own the establishment. The City of Glendale and its KKK past seem to be lingering in the comment section. This establishment has been in business for decades. Clearly, they are doing something right to keep the lights on. Nearly all of the negative reviews are regarding the "rude" employees. Not everything in life is about "you," or how you perceive a culture. Doesn't it ever occur to you guys that perhaps there is a language barrier for some of these employees? Not being fluent in the English language, prevents these folks from being able to express the warmth that they could in their native tongue. Naturally, this doesn't transpire to you people because you are perhaps grossly self-centered to think that people need to assimilate at a rapid rate to appease you, whilst, selling a piece of cake. Racism is still alive and well in Glendale. The project of enlightenment and modernity seems to veer off from this town. Get over yourselves!
Innovative Constructions
Another place that definitely needs to be visited. This restaurant has been around for a long long time I used to live there several years ago and keep going back to eat. They’re wonderful food. The food they serve is like homemade food and very unique. They also have a full on pastry shop attached to it as part of the restaurant so you get everything you want to eat for lunch or dinner or even breakfast and take some home with you to your family.Either way, you’re gonna be happy that you found this place and I definitely recommend it

Went in looks so nice clean the ladies are not welcoming what's so ever mean looking not one smile but the Armenian coffee was good the nazook was good too

The pastry case is very long and colorful, and tempting. Most pastries, fruit tarts, and cake slices are priced at $4-$5 each. I tried one of the "new" chicken pockets and a piece of walnut cake with milk crème. The chicken pocket was a type of baked bun/ bread filled with a rather bland chicken mixture and overall quite dry. The slice of cake was kind of sticky & gummy texture. I wanted to like this place more than I did.

The servers at the front who serve food are rude. I am non Armenian, I used to go to their their plates but until a rude lady, who seemed to be the manager or supervisor of who are servicing food started talking in her own language to a client about me. I didn't need to understand what they were saying but because I didn't know how to pronounce the exact chicken right she got frustrated. They all starred at me both people behind the counter and even clients purchasing food, until I started starring back to let them know I am aware of them talking smack. Last time I am supporting this place with racist employees. Also, I hope they treat their Hispanic employees with respect and not like trash rags. I had to give them a zero but even the single star isn't earned. This goes for the pastries which tasted bland, no texture. Zero for service and maybe a 1 star for the food. Go elsewhere for food and pastries if you can.

We love this place so so much the pastry is awesome... BUT as a customer who drives 5 hours to go there is so disappointing how they treat you because you not speak there language... all casher are rude and mean.
