Wow! I called Rafi's Pastry to order some dessert for my get together tonight and I am beyond impressed. They have the most beautiful packaging. I wanted an assortment of pastries and they gave me just that. My family is obsessed with mikado so I had to order a whole BOX. Guys, this was the most delicious Mikado I've ever had. The sweetness was perfect, the size was perfect, the presentation was exquisite. They're located on Glenoaks in a beautiful neighborhood. Their service was exceptional. I have yet to come across such amazing customer service at a bakery. If you're in the neighborhood and you're looking for a sweet gesture, look no further. This place is officially my favorite bakery!

I've literally dreamt of the day that Rafi will make my wedding cake. Everyone loved the flavors. We got strawberries and cream as well as a vanilla with milk chocolate cream. Amazing! Beautiful cake and very high quality ingredients

Went here today and am pleased to say that it is nothing like the run of the mill Armenian pastry shops. Needless to say, that is long overdue. The pastries are beautiful and delicious; another rare combination. I was assisted by Rafi himself, who was so kind and knowledgeable. It is evident that his heart and soul are in this business. He went out of his way to deliver excellent service. I got the eclair and cream puff. He was also kind enough to give me some things on the house to taste, which was so unexpected and very much appreciated. I asked about the mikado, which I discovered was in a beautiful packaging and ready to gift a lucky recipient. I am mainly gluten free, but would definitely be willing to have a non gluten free dessert from here and that is obviously saying a lot.

Skip this place and avoid disappointment. Our first and last purchase at Rafi's Pastry was a stale birthday cake. It was hard and dry as if it had been in a refrigerator for two weeks. We called the bakery the next day and they said it was baked fresh that day, no apologies. They did tell us to bring it back but for what purpose? The party was over and more than half of the small cake was already in the garbage. We did try to support a small, local business but Vons has fresher cakes for less. Lesson learned.

Rafi is so very kind and always devotes all his attention to bringing our visions to life, and for that, we appreciate him and would prefer to always give him our business! This should give you a good idea of the kind of guy Rafi is - I was delivering an Amazon package to this place and on my way out Rafi says "here take this with you" and hands me a big intricately designed pastry for free. It was one of the best things I've ever tasted and I'm a big sweets guy. Definitely recommend!

We very recently placed our cake order with Raffi for a Christening event. Right from the beginning Raffi listened to our request for the design and colors to be used. He then provided flavor samples of the cakes. We were extremely pleased with our cake upon walking into the venue as we never showed him a picture of the design. He met and surpassed our expectations in terms of the design and flavors. Will definitely come back for our future events. Thank you very much!

Where should I begin from? Me and my fiancé are from Las Vegas and were in LA shopping for our wedding cake, we also visited this place Rafi’s, the front desk lady after listening to what we needed, we basically had only a few questions and if any appointment was needed we could have managed it, she went inside and called a guy which I’m assuming was the owner, we obviously needed help, he didn’t even bother to ask if anything was needed, and went back inside, and I thought ok, maybe he’s giving us a moment, he sends the front lady back out only to tell us we should be there same day for consultation sharp at 4:30, we explained that we are short on time, might not be able to make it, and asked if any other options for more information were available, but heard the same story. Next day we were advised to go back to this place since they are professional, this time the front lady greets us, we tell her we’re back she says so what? Did you look at the clock? With an attitude. Confused I said ya sure..what about it? She taps on to her wrist with her finger telling me it’s not 4:30 and they can’t do anything now they have a delivery, again I mentioned that we are not from LA we’re running short on our time, and asked if we can check on their website for more information, said I can’t do anything for you now…which made me even angrier, I would never advise anyone to work with these people, if you need a professional approach for this matter these guys are not what you need. Never again!Update for your answer: I think you’re confusing us with someone else, we have left town on Friday afternoon we never passed by on Saturday, and what a lovely unprofessional response is yours, and again we wanted to know if there was any other way for us to get information about the businesses online and oh Rafi never gave us a price.
