I Loved this place! Their service was excellent! I had a few specifications of what I wanted for my gender reveal and they fulfilled all of them! I wanted gluten free cupcakes, exactly 20 (10 designed one way and 10 designed another way and just one cupcake filled with either pink or blue). I showed them the envelope of the baby's gender and the design I wanted and they did all of it. I highly recommend them!

I am so pleased with my experience with Roobina's Cake. I went to them last minute for a cake order, and I could not have been met with more patience and a willingness to help throughout the whole process. I was in between which cake flavor/filling to select, and they kindly gave me a cupcake sample to make sure I was confident about my decision. The customer service was phenomenal and it's evident that they prioritize their customer's satisfaction. Needless to say, the cake was delicious and all of our guests were raving about it! My husband and I ordered our wedding cake and dessert table from Roobina's. They were amazing. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by the staff. We told them we needed desserts and a cake for our wedding. They gave us multiple samples of cakes and showed us what designs were available. We chose eclairs, donuts, tiramisu, cake pops, and cupcakes as our desserts. They set up our table at the venue and the desserts were all custom colored to our wedding colors. Everything tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend.

We had a cake tasting at Roobina's recently.The coordination is really quick, and they're very communicative. There isn't a way to try their cakes without scheduling it as they're not open to the public as a traditional bakery. For their cake tastings, they set you up with several cupcakes in their most popular flavors. If you'd like to try something else, you should let them know in advance because they do have carrot cake, red velvet, etc. But, their standard offering is:- Coconut Almond- Raspberry- Chocoloate ganache- Strawberry- Hazelnut- MochaThey are assumptive that you'd book your cake with them. They wanted to know which flavors we wanted to go with. Our answer was...none of them; which is how we found out that do have other options. I wish I had known to ask for specific flavors. But we had several questions:- We showed a picture of a specific design and they assured us they could do that. They hadn't done anything similar, so they didn't have any examples to show us, so my fiance asked if they would do a rendering beforhand for us to approve. They said no -- they don't have the ability to do that. Their 'design' was hand-drawn with some notations. So we were really uncomfortable not knowing what it'd actually look like. - Our photo example had a dark icing and we wanted the design on top of that (identical to the photo), but they said that wasn't possible, that you wouldn't be able to see the design.- They really pushed the dummy-cake idea, where the cake is entirely fake except for the part that is cut for the ceremony. I'm really not into that.They offer a free anniversary cake, which is really nice; and they include delivery in their price; I've found their pricing to be really reasonable, pretty much average, or right below average, for wedding cakes in LA.

Beautiful design poorly executed. I flew across country for my husband's birthday and decided to have a cake made for my husband using Roobina's cake shop. The designs are gorgeous, but the taste of the cake was horrible. The texture was crumbly and chalky and left much to be desired. My husband was not impressed by the cake and I ended up buying another when I made it back to the east coast. They also delivered the cake late and never called me to notify me.

I ordered my wedding cake and surprise Mexican-themed groom's cake for my new husband for our Spring 2023 wedding and Roobina's went above and beyond to deliver two breath taking cakes that had us and our guests overjoyed. While my cake was a simple rustic single-tiered white cake with buttercream frosting and fresh blush colored roses, Roobina's staff really showed their raw talent and attention to detail with the groom's cake! Gorgeous vivid colors and fun fondant additions like a taco, sombrero, and cacti, my Mexican husband absolutely adored his cake!!! Their customer service is second to none with impeccable and responsive communication. Several times I reached out to change a few details of the cake (like flavor, etc) and the staff did not miss one beat, quickly responding and confirming all changes. If I could rate Roobina's 10 stars I whole heartedly would. You all are truly outstanding! My husband and I will be clients for life. I am so blown away by the sheer perfection of my order, thank you Roobina's Cake Staff!!!

This review is for after pandemic. It seems after pandemic the whole vibe and service has changed here. You no longer get personalized service by the actual baker so the quality has gone down, and prices have gone up a lot more. It's a little ridiculous. I regret using them this last time, the cake was a bad version of the photo I showed to them. They've have now lost my business and I have been long time client for 6 years. 3 of my friends also feel the same way and they too have gone to them for all cake needs and we are now looking for another baker. Sorry.

I'm extremely disappointed. I had very high expectations of your services and you definitely lost my future business and everyone else I know. I could have ordered the edible daisies that were on the cake you sent from Etsy and put it on a simple cake myself for a quarter of the price. In the photo below you can see the cake I ordered with fluffy daisies and the very subtle greenery around it, and right below the cake you sent - you couldn't have executed more poorly. I paid for daisies to be individually made and you stuck on pre-maid daisies that I could have done myself. And not to mention all the stress you caused by sending a cake I didn't order the day of the party! Do NOT recommend!!!

Wow. Wow. Wow!!! I was looking for a cigar box cake for a 53yo birthday. Roobina's cake did not disappoint! It looked so real and it was delicious!!!!
