The spicy tuna hard roll was absolutely amazing! It's probably the best I've ever had. The staff very nice and attentive!

I walk by this place daily and it's always so busy. I decided to try it for myself and it was delicious. Everything seemed fresh and full of flavor. The waiters were all super sweet and attentive to our needs. We went for lunch so it wasn't as busy as it normally is, which was nice because the space is a little tight given its all bar seating. They play good music and it's a fun atmosphere. There's plenty of street parking and valet (10-15$). I will say this spot is on the pricer side, Im not convinced the meal was worth the price give theres an omekase down the street.

A dreadful ordeal occurred when ordering takeout. Despite requesting three times for extra soy sauce, they only included two packets in the $500 worth of food, despite my explicit request for discretion. Be aware when ordering

This was our first time, and it was 10/10 experience, the wait staff was kind, helped us pick out some dishes, and EVERYTHING we tried was fantastic. Seaweed has now become one of my favorite sushi places I have every been!

Great food, great atmosphere great overall. We mainly ordered sashimi, whatever we ordered it was great. They have valet parking, everybody was polite it was one of my best sushi restaurant I tried in Glendale. If you like sushi and you're in Glendale you should try them out

Really good, fresh sushi. Would have loved it if they offered soy paper for the rolls.

The food is yummy and fresh but I ordered 3 rolls for delivery and it took over 1.5 hours and I live 2 miles away. Slowest service I’ve experienced in ages. No communication from the restaurant. Would honestly have preferred that they cancelled my order so I could have gotten comparable food elsewhere.

This place has amazing food, I was blown away - the Wagyu skewer literally brought a tear to my eye. I also enjoyed the Seared Black Cod and Toro. The atmosphere was fun as well, it definitely had a club kinda vibe. Will be back for sure!

I love the spicy tuna here, it's the best I've ever tried. The food is overall really good. The staff is really nice too. The reason for my lower review is the way they handle the billing. There's an 18% service charge and they used to point that out and tell me no tip necessary.. Great, sounds fair enough. NOW, when you give your card and they bring back your receipt, they purposely FOLD your receipt to cover the service charge so you won't see it when you're signing it, leaving the tip area open. As if we are that dumb lol. It's just really shady, it's not ok. You guys never used to do that and please don't respond trying to act like it's always been this way. Every time I came, I was verbally told about the service fee and how I don't need to give a tip on top of that. I don't mind paying more for better food, but folding the receipt to cover the service fee in hopes we don't see it, come on. And this has happened numerous times I've been here so I'm finally calling it out.

Very overpriced, sushi was cut not professional and very tiny pieces. We didn't like the place at all. Never going back to seaweed bar on

All the rolls are very SAUCE heavy.. All the seatings are at the bar. Service is fast and friendly. It's a good pace. The ambiance is nice. More upbeat compared to Kazunori. Alcohol selections are limited. - Octopus Shooter 3.8/5 It's very yuzu-y and chewy.. definitely interesting and different from the usual 'shooters.' The octopus pieces are overcooked. - Chicken Karaage 2.6/5 The weird chicken skin pieces just disintegrates in your mouth.. pieces of chicken are not juicy. Would NOT recommend. - Yellowtail Handroll 4.3/5 The yellowtail is almost like a paste texture in your mouth. It has good flavor though and tastes kind of fresh. This was my favorite roll of the night. - Salmon Handroll 4.1/5 It was yummy. The salmon pieces were cut bigger than the yellowtail which was nice. - Blue Crab Handroll 2.4/5 It's mixed with too much mayo? It's very creamy... - Seared Scallop Handroll 2.1/5 The entire Handroll ONLY tastes like Shisho leaf. Cannot taste the sear or the scallop. Parking is street paid parking.

First off the service is great! I'd like to take a moment to mention "Eva" (I hope I spelled that correctly) I respect your hustle and your commitment and dedication to your craft in the hospitality business. You are super mature for your age and to the owner of this establishment you have a hidden gem in Eva and you should definitely do what you can do keep her around. The food is great, everything has a great presentation and is just as good as it looks which often isn't the case at other restaurants. Everything is freshly made and although the prices are similar to Nobu - you are at least avoiding the condescending crowd and environment (to each is own lol) and unless you know someone there the 2 to 3 month wait that comes with dining there. Ambiance is cool, I enjoyed the music that was playing. Again, shout out to Eva, keep grinding the work will payoff for you sooner rather than later.
