I'm actually shocked at Sprinkles like.... Did I just come on a lucky day because the cupcake was actually .... Good!? Now, I would NEVER actually go to a Sprinkes and pay over $5 for a cupcake. It was good but not $5+ good. On this day I had a free birthday reward and I was at the Americana so I figured why not grab one. I went with the Sprinkle cupcake and at first I didn't realize I could only redeem my cupcake online so I had to place a pick-up order that apparently wasn't going to be ready for an hour. I told the worker at the pick up window and he was kind enough to just pack it up for me right away! Win service. The cupcake itself was actually moist and had good flavor not too sweet either while the frosting wasn't overly sugared and it was just the right amount for me to make a cupcake sandwich out of it.

I am so happy to live near a Sprinkles! The cupcakes are delish and I especially love all the limited edition flavors. In the regulars I love red velvet and the black and white. For LE flavors I LOVE the Smores as well as the Sticky Toffee, the Raspberry Chocolate Chip and all the holiday red velvets with the appropriate sprinkles.

Been a while since I had a Sprinkles cupcake but wanted to try the Raspberry Chocolate Chip.. very disappointed the cake was DRY.. frosting was fine but maybe the cupcake was a day or 2 old??! so sad

I really enjoy going to sprinkles cupcakes. They have the best cupcakes I ever tasted in awhile. Other than that the red velvet and the chocolate chip cookie gluten-free are my personal favourite. I also like the chocolate sprinkle one as well. I highly recommend those flavours, if not then just try them all. Try one. Try them all.

Pretty standard cupcakes. Pretty easy ordering at the kiosk and pick up at the window. We got the 4 cupcake special with strawberry, carrot, triple caramel, red velvet. They also have dog cupcakes too! Also noticed a cupcake ATM which is very cool and gimmicky but I've never seen that before.

The staff is great - and they have friendly service. The online ordering process is easy and convenient; but, I must be one of a few people that doesn't really like Sprinkles Cupcakes. I liked Sprinkles when I first tried them in Newport Beach about 13-14 years ago when they were one of the first cupcake shops in existence. Now that many competitors have opened shops, I can make comparisons and Sprinkles would not be at the top of my list. My Delight Cupcakery in Ontario tops my list. I find the cake at Sprinkles to be too dense and dry, and the frosting has a pasty and heavy texture...mind you, I like buttercream, so it's not because Sprinkles frosting is not whipped. I'm thinking taste and texture is just a matter of individual preference, hence others good reviews on Sprinkles. For me, I'll pass and go elsewhere.

Sprinkles is conveniently located in Americana so it's a nice spot to grab a dessert while shopping. The cupcakes can be overly sweet, especially with their limited seasonal flavors. The frosting ends up in the trash. In my opinion, thats a waste of money since the cupcakes can be pricey!My fave is the dark chocolate one; however, I feel the moist chocolate cake tastes very similar to the Trader Joe's sheet cake. After trying out their cupcakes, I think I will take a break from their cupcakes.

Sprinkles cupcakes will always be my favorite cupcake shop!!! The nostalgia of my UC San Diego days at their La Jolla location warms my heart every time I get a sprinkles cupcake. I've tried all the flavors and they don't disappoint. Sometimes they have too much buttercream frosting for the amount of cake but it clearly isn't a problem if I come back again and again. From the fact that they offer vegan and gluten free options to the specialty nostalgic flavors like circus animal cookie cupcake I can't get enough. Sometimes I go to the Americana just for sprinkles. It doesn't help that my doggie also loves their pupcakes. Adorable and the perfect doggie treat size!!!I know this Americana location has bad service reviews but you can't expect super speedy service when the Americana is always super busy no matter when you go. Needless to say I've never had an issue because I rarely wait in line and if there's more than one person in front of me I order from the self checkout window "cupcake ATM" machine in the back of the stall. Highly recommend this sprinkles location!!!
