Exclusive Year of the Dragon merchandise...My friends and I were having lunch nearby. We were discussing what we were going to do next. I mentioned that I should stop at a Starbucks during this trip and look for maybe another Los Angeles tumbler.I have over 900 Starbucks Stars to spend. 400 Stars can be used towards $20 of merchandise... why not get a free tumbler? The trenta-sized tumblers are $19.95, so they are monetarily free! I just have to turn in 400 Stars!I had street parking already, so I crossed the street and walked a block. There it was on the corner of Honolulu Avenue (nice name for a street) and Ocean View Boulevard! I looked around calmly, not expecting to find anything when I looked up at the highest shelf, and to my total surprise, I saw the EXCLUSIVE 2024 Year of the Dragon merchandise! (I'm sure they're sold out in Hawaii...)Gosh!I could barely contain myself! I had to touch each item: the mug, the trenta tumbler, and the stainless steel tumbler! Woot woot! I casually strolled over to the cashier who deducted 400 Stars from my account, gave me a FREE paper bag for my FREE acquisition, and wished me a Happy New Year!Dreams can and do come true!

When I am ordering a grande cappuccino I don’t want to get a cup of foam. I want 80% drink and 20% foam in the cup not the opposite. And they are arguing with me instead of making it right. I will go to other stores where they can do it.

Located on the Southeast corner of Oceanview and Honolulu, this Starbucks is above average. I'm at this location at least once a week. There is both indoor and covered outdoor seating and one bathroom. The parking on the street is metered.They have the typical rush hour times and the afternoon seems to have a lot of kids just out of school.

This happened a little while back but worthy of mention. Got two cups of coffee and asked for milk on the side for the coffee. Was given a small amount, and I told the employee I needed some more. Employee states this was the amount that Starbucks provided, and it was company policy. I was surprised and told the employee I used more milk in my coffee. They wouldn't give me more. I asked for the manager, she was behind the counter and told me the same thing, she was not pleasant. Well, for 3 ounces of milk they lost a customer. Haven't been there since. Won't go back and I'm a local.

I came in to enjoy my usual coffee; and I was approached by a wonderful barista name Cosmic. I was informed by cosmic the new drink called Oleato, and was amazed at how delicious it was. Cosmic described in detail the flavor, where its from, the different ways I could have it: And, I could get it in decaf. I can't describe what a fantastic experience I had, because of Cosmic. The entire staff was friendly, nice, and professional. I truly had an awesome experience at the Montrose location. I would not have tried the "Oleato" had it not been for the incredible Barista named Cosmic. Also, Brian, Bree, Cat, Niri, and Molly. Then entire staff was AWESOME!!!
I wanted to take my time to write my review since the partners that work in this location have great customer service skills, and are so knowledgeable when it comes to the drinks and their customers. Unfortunately, while I was enjoying my drinks this rude a** man decided to make a scene, the girls did a great job trying to de escalate the situation, however he was demeaning and obscene (if you are the gentleman reading this, I hope you had an awful morning and reflect on not being an a****** to people who are just trying to do their job).Anyways, I hope you guys keep on coming to this Starbucks because the workers are just lovely, the ambiance and food was great too :)

I've been to this Starbucks location a couple of times and I've had a good experience each time. The staff is friendly, the drinks are made quickly, and the lines are never too long (even if there is a line, it moves quickly enough). The interior isn't particularly large or special, although its generally clean and there are several tables and bar stools where you may enjoy your coffee. They do have a few outdoor seats as well, which are nice if it's sunny outside!Overall, this is a good Starbucks located right on Honolulu Avenue. This means you can get your coffee on the go and enjoy the many surrounding shops!

This is the only Starbucks that doesn't support protecting the environment - all other Starbucks in the Foothills encourage bringing your own mugs.Each one of us can reduce the waste of hundreds and thousands of cups a year.
