Food and coffee were very good however the young girl who took my order in the front was very rude and short with me and made me feel unwelcomed. I would like to go back especially for their coffee but I'm hesitant because of the service I received from her.

Loved the cosy atmosphere of this tiny tea room ( two tables inside) but with more seating outside under umbrellas. The scones were imaginative and delicious as was the special chai tea served that day. The staff was kind and attentive.

I was expecting an afternoon tea with my granddaughter. The pictures on the website are misleading. This is more of a walk-in baker with two very small tables infront of the counter, right next to the door, which can seat a maximu of 4. The food was barely tolerable. The bread was stale. I had tried to pre-order some child-friendly sandwhiches (through an email that they had sent me the day before, confirming) for my 5-year-old granddaughter. When we got there, they only had adult sandwiches. There was one turkey sandwich that she liked but it had arugala greens on it and I asked if they could remove it? They said, "No" that the sandwiches came pre-made. So I had to remove it. It was just an very unpleasant and unexpected experience for $99 dollars for two people. I would like a refund, but doubt that's going to happen.

Cute outdoor cafe with delicious scones and tea. My party had a variety of flavors and everyone enjoyed their choices. My favorites are the matcha white chocolate , ube coconut and chocolate chip. The options for vegetarian sandwiches and vegan/gluten free scones were yummy and appreciated.

Sugarbird Cafe offers a tranquil place to sit and enjoy the sunshine with a scone and a tasty drink. I came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon. The place offers some outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade. I noticed they have a table they reserve for special events- it looked like you can set up a tea date where they bring you teas, tea sandwiches and your table is set up so cute. Parking is easy to find as this business shares a parking lot with a couple other businesses. Restrooms are available for customers as well. The service was OK- nothing special, pretty "blah" attitude from the staff. Wish they offered more coffee options, but overall a cool selection of teas and scones.
absolutely had a fantastic time at this tea place!! came with the girlies for a spot of tea and some sizzling hot gossip! jkjk haha but we had so much fun munching sipping and chatting. decor is insanely cute/pretty. we got lucky with the most perfect weather (note: it is outdoor seating only). im a bit of a tea snob so tea was just okay for me, nothing horrible but nothing amazing either. BUT OMG THOSE SCONES. the feta + chives scone and fig + rosemary scones. OMG. soooooo delicious. all the food was excellent. overall, i highly recommend. p.s. make sure to specific any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to the day you visit and preferably specify it in the notes when you are booking via opentable. i'm vegetarian but i didn't specify it and there was a turkey sandwich as part of the tea service. i just traded a sandwich with my friend, so it was okay but it seems they only buy exactly what's necessary for the day. So if you and your friend are both vegetarian and forget to specify, they may not be able to make you two new vegetarian sandwiches. so make sure to alert them prior to the day you visit so they can make the necessary adjustments to your tea service. also, they run out of some items so be aware of that. we got everything we wanted but when we were ordering, the lady said they had already run out of some items, and our reservation was at 11:30am.

The staff was sweet, clean, thoughtful, and efficient. They made both my mom and I feel comfortable. They checked in on us and even let us know that we could refill our tea after my mom had finished her pot. We both had mini scones and were quite full. The scones were delicious and moist without being overly sweet. I ordered the willow tea and my mom ordered the Mila. The aroma of the willow was amazing and it had a lovely light flavor. The Mila was smokey and amazing! Best of all there are Vegan scones! I orded some to go because its so rare to find!

All I want is a scone and tea!!! And Sugarbird was perfect for it. I like to have a full tea service, and they do offer it. But lately I just want a really good scone, clotted cream and good tea. A quick stop so I can enjoy an hour and move along with my day. It was perfect. I got 2 scones and then as I was leaving bought 3 more types. Every one of them was good. I liked the Earl Grey scone the most. Definitely will go back for a full service tea. Cute store and enjoyable location.

First off, I don't know why these are called scones because they are not dry like regular scones. These are so moist and flavorful. The flavors that they have compliment each other so well. Just to give you an idea, I bought these on Sunday, and I still warmed them up and ate them on Tuesday, and after you put them in the microwave, they're so soft and moist.
I had high expectations but unfortunately, they are not kid friendly and the food didn't taste fresh at all. The waitresses were nice though we were sat outside they gave us blankets because it was so cold ( and I have a toddler). We asked if we could sit inside but they said they had a reservation which never showed up. The place is a small bakery so the tables are mostly outside and they will tell you that too. It was $38/ea and $10 for Glendale tax. They did have a nice selection of tea but the food ( sandwiches+ scones + dessert) was very mediocre and unpleasant.
