Great food, very friendly employees, constantly good ambience. They charge convenient pricing and the food quality is awesome. I recommend this place.

Last week was the first time we came to that place. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the magnificent dishes and fine drinks and with the honest payment. We will definitely return there soon.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we arrived in this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with great dishes and an experienced team and a talented chef. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will certainly return soon. Highly recommended.

This place never disappoints. They have awesome food for affordable rates, there is no waiting time even when they are loaded.

We like a lot to go out. Last night we came to this delicious place which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful experience there with excellent dishes and an efficient crew and a great cuisine. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly visit again soon. We warmly recommend.

I have been here twice before and both times were exactly the same: mediocre and slightly disappointing....maybe that's why the place is always empty??? Ok so let's break this down. Both times, we have walked in and the hostess/only waitress is on her phone just hanging out. There were dirty tables and dishes still sitting around but she seemed to be in no hurry to clean it up. The decor is kinda like a fast food restaurant...nothing special, comfortable, or inviting. The menu is confusing and a bit misleading as well.....aannnnddd their prices are definitely on the higher end for sushi without the flavor to really back it up! Our sushi was warm? That seemed super odd to me...nothing necessarily tasted bad (in fact, we liked a few of the things we had like the Yuzu roll), but it wasn't great either. Just seems like this place is missing a few key "ingredients" to being a good local sushi spot...

Wow. I am definitely not one to leave negative yelp reviews, but I am shocked at the stars Toro has. We went in there for "50% off sushi" after ordering three rolls and eating them, we were informed that only one half of the special menu we were handed was 50% off. Now that is frustrating, but couple with that the warm temperature of the sushi, and the poor quality of the rolls, the dirty tables, and the false advertising regarding 1/2 off beers (they don't have a liquor license), and I felt no option other than to warn potential patrons to go elsewhere. Two stars because the server was kind to us, but I debated leaving one.

If you haven't been here, you local people don't know what treasure you have in your backyard!!! I had the salmon skin poke bowl with citrus garlic ponzu sauce plus a salmon skin roll! Wow! I wish I lived closer, I'd have this everyday! Nope, I wouldn't be tired of it... Did I mention their organic macha green tea??? They brew it so fresh it's worthy of a challenge for you tea coniosures to come and sip some of it and taste for yourself. Loved their hospitality too;)

I came here because of the favorable ratings and left confused and with a bad taste in my mouth. The ambiance is not even up to the local Taco Bell standards. The counters were messy, the place was totally empty (literally, except for me and the waiter and the chef), the music was bad and the TV was playing news. I ordered the $17 Omakase A because I wanted sashimi and $15 for sashimi seemed expensive. The first course of the Omakase was edamame (refrigerator cold) and a little pile of salmon sashimi (this was in poke form; chopped up and a little smashed - not true sashimi). The sashimi was cold as well (I prefer it room temperature or very slightly chilled) and covered in sauce. The next course were three fish and a shrimp nigiri. They tasted okay, but the rice was not really sushi rice and it fell apart before I could bring it to my mouth. I was never served a soy sauce dish, so I tried just dotting a little sauce on the corner of my plate but there was nothing to hold it in place so it just sort of soaked into the rice on the nearest nigiri. The last course was a toro hand roll which was actually ahi and not actually toro It was again in a roughly chopped/crushed form and not cubed or sliced as it should have been, and the roll was loosely wrapped so that it fell apart more and more with each bite. All that said, the fish tasted fresh and the place was clean. I'm not scared of food poisoning or anything. It is just that there are a LOT of places at the same price point doing sushi way better within a couple of miles of here. I wouldn't waste my time going here for sushi. Maybe try the poke. Idk. There is competition on that front as well.

Ordered spicy ramen through Uber Eats, wasn't spicy at all. Pretty small portion with few toppings. Chicken was bland and chewy. Perhaps the food is better in the restaurant itself but I won't be ordering here again.

Toro Sushi Poke House has really great Poke bowls and very good deals on sushi that can probably not be found in any other place. It was my first time trying it but I don't regret it a bit!

I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen. Hands down one of my favorite ramen places to go. The noodles and the broth is simply amazing! The broth is so creamy and rich. I had to stop myself from going here every day... lol. And the service is fast, employees are attentive and nice. Give it a try. You won't regret it!

Toro Ramen House is my new favorite Japanese ramen spot in Glendale. I use to drive down to Little Tokyo for my ramen but Toro Ramen House has the same rich flavorful soup broth that I enjoy. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
