I was not able to call in my order. I was greeted by an automated message that said the number had changed and there was no new number available. I don't think this place is still open.

We've driven by this place a million times and we didn't know what it was as the signage is not clear from the street. We finally checked out Woodlands Cafe today as we walked by, and it turns out that it is a really awesome casual little restaurant with Thai and Mediterranean food (that seems like an odd combination, but I think it works really well for the neighborhood). We all ordered Thai, and it was outstanding. We had delicious steamed dumplings, pad see-ew, yellow curry, garlic rice (sooo good!), and my vegan son loved the stir fried cashew nuts with tofu, along with yummy Thai iced tea, of course. The man working there was beyond wonderful. The service level was outstanding as we sat out on their sunny patio for lunch. He cooked our food, then brought it out to us as we relaxed in the sun. He was extremely accommodating when we added to our order after he had already served everything. The food was absolutely delicious, and we'll definitely become regulars here. So good!

We have ordered food from this place for years. They are not consistent with their dishes. We found a cockroach in the food we ordered yesterday. We all got really sick. She is not running a sanitary restaurant. We are considering an action against the restaurant owner, I do not want to mention her name her.

Who knew one restaurant could be so good at both Thai and Mediterranean food??? Finally tried this place after meaning to for the longest time. We thought the food was outstanding. Cooked to perfection and generous servings. Will be returning often!

Best Thai in the area. Cozy patio, unassuming and freaking good food. Panang chicken, homemade pork sausage on garlic rice muah!Run by a great local family.

Tried this spot because it had the combination of Thai/Mediterranean food. My kids love Thai food, and my husband was in the mood for Mediterranean. It was perfect! We came for a late lunch, and dined in their adorable outdoor patio. We were greeted by a kind woman ( the owner). We tried the yellow curry with chicken, a Thai omelette with veggies and garlic flavoring , beef Pad See Ew, and a beef Lule Kabob plate. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Presentation was wonderful. The service was amazing, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. We love supporting small business owners.

My new favorite thai place in town! They are so friendly, and the place is clean and welcoming with a nice outdoor patio. More importantly, the curry is amazing. We've ordered the yellow chicken curry twice, and both times the chicken was well-prepared and tender (unlike many experiences with Thai curry, where the chicken is sad and dry). I'll be back many times, I'm sure.

This review is overdue! This place is a true hidden gem. The owner is absolutely passionate about cooking of her Thai heritage. One thing most don't know is that she personally selects and buys all ingredients and doesn't skimp on buying the best quality. This is a trait of Michelin-star chefs. She really does go out of her way and it is reflected in the food. I'm a big connoisseur of Thai food and I will be so bold as to dare you to hit up all the great places in Thai Town and try here and tell me if you don't notice a difference in taste and quality. As the ownership is of mixed heritage, they also have a Persian menu, and let me tell you, the filet mignon kebabs were the tastiest I have ever tried, even exceeding those of Raffi's Place and every other Persian restaurant I've tried. No joke! Intense with charbroiled smoky flavor, and cooked by Go (that's his name), a Thai gentleman who is gifted in the kitchen. On the Thai menu, you can't go wrong with anything. My personal favorite is the seafood soup (my absolute favorite), the green curry and the beef salad. They do a lot of pickup but dining there is a treat as they have a very quaint but small courtyard setting. A heads-up: if you're in a rush, this isn't the place for you if you want to dine in. They do a lot of pickup orders and are a small local outfit so the kitchen works as fast as they can. However, they take their time to ensure quality. Also, they grow a lot of their staple herbs right in their courtyard garden too: Kaffir lime, Thai basil, etc!

This is a great little spot. Fresh Thai food and a very pleasant patio. We had the Pad Thai and Red Curry. Both were fresh and flavorful. They also have a great Thai Iced Tea! Check them out when you're in the neighborhood.

Really love their food delicious and spicy. Friendly staff and authentic. Your choice of Thai or Mediterranean. Truly a gem in La Crescenta. Highly recommend.

Yes - Thai AND Mediterranean food!! Perfect for my picky family. Parked in their lot in front and walked right in - greeted right away and was on my way within moments with my piping hot food that was packaged very nicely! The food was on point - the Beef Lule Kabobs and Chicken Thigh Kabobs were juicy, well seasoned and so tasty. These came with a grilled tomatoes, small side salad and soft pita bread with a side of hummus. We also got the Rad Na which had heaps of white meat chicken and very flavorful gravy as well. Look forward to coming back soon and sitting in their cute patio next time!

I am so grateful to have discovered this place this past year. Woodlands Cafe has made working from home while helping my son with Zoom school so much easier. I can always count on Jari and her staff to prepare a delicious home cooked meal. Yes, it's a 25 minute wait, but what you're getting is quality. It is worth it! With restrictions being lifted, we had the opportunity to celebrate all of my daughter's missed milestones from 2020. Jari went above and beyond my expectations for an intimate celebration. Food and service were first class. Our guests were super impressed and look forward to their own celebrations at Woodlands Cafe. Covid protocols were 100% implemented. So clean! Delicious food...both the Thai and Mediterranean. The best Thai iced tea I've ever tasted! The sweetest and kindest owner. Tell Jari Chris and Cris sent you.

This review is for customer service alone, as we did not eat. Went in for a meal, as they were available for indoor dining. Upon entering we were looked at and not greeted. I said "for two please" and as the lady started walking away she said they were only open for a private party and take out. At least that's what I think she said, as again, she started walking away. I said thank you as we walked out, though I'm pretty sure we were talking to ourselves. My first impression... I'll not be back. Again, this review is based solely on this first interaction and nothing more.

So friendly! I was waiting for my boyfriend while he got his hair cut next door. I only had $6 cash so ordered some pita bread and house sauce. The owner gave me some hummus. I had some in the car then took some outa and house sauce home and enjoyed with my ground bison meal prep.
