I've been in twice to get sandwiches and holy carumba are they delicious. The last I tried the super deli sandwich which is roast beef, polish ham and turkey with mayo, mustard, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes and pickles. With the right amount of condiments and fresh ingredients. I also bought a slice of the Walnut spiral bread (I forget what it's called) it was also very good. I highly recommend. The woman who made me sandwiches both times is very passionate about the meat and cheeses she put on her sandwiches. Her passion shines through her work. Well definitely be going back.

This is a great Polish deli. They have the best (next to homemade) perioges in town. You must also try the kielbasa. The wedding link is one of my favorites.

It's OK in case nothing else is open or simply hey you might like it... As this is my sole opinion. Not bad taste just not tasty enough to have a repeat visit....

What a hidden little gem. I heard good things about this place but never thought to eat there. I have been missing out and now I'm deciding what I want to try next when I go back there. Service was great, the lady was very friendly and informative about the different selection of meats. My friend got the liverwurst sandwich and I got the schinkenwurst sandwich ! The bread was the perfect ratio and softness, just good simple ingredients of lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese mustard and mayonnaise and thinly sliced schinkenwurst! It was divine not to salty just perfect. My friends liverwurst was amazing too! I tried half and we loved that it didn't overpower in smell and the quality of the liverwurst was amazing! It was soo creamy and rich ! I think that was my best and favorite sandwich ever! Can't wait to come back and so glad it's close to work!

We ordered 2 sandwiches schinkenwurst and liverwurst on French rolls. Both meats were DELICIOUS, Best quality liverwurst specialty we have tasted. French rolls was huge, fresh and perfect for the sandwich meats.

WHAT A CUTE AND LOVELY DELI & RESTAURANT!! It's a small shop in a small plaza (I thought the parking was tiny, but it's only because there's this weird divider between the lots, but keep this in mind because it might get kinda tight). There's seating inside for dine in or you can order to go! There is a deli counter where you can get freshly cut cheeses and meats, a freezer/fridge area with frozen breads for later, drinks, etc, and a shop area with imported European goods (sauces, soups, chocolates, candies, snacks, etc). The decorations are simple, whimsical, and very charming. Gives you a very "welcome home!" feeling! The owner, Joanna, was super warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She was handling the entire business herself when we got there, but we never had to wait too long. We got the: 1) Stuffed Cabbage Plate: -Comes with 2 steamed cabbage "rolls" stuffed with rice and meat with tomato sauce on top, served with sliced rye bread with butter! -The rolls were tightly packed and each bite was even distributed with the ingredients inside. Texture of the cabbage was perfect, not too overly steamed or mushy, and not too raw and crunchy. I've only had Asian style cabbage rolls before, so this was a welcome treat! -The tomato sauce added a slight sour-ness and went perfect with the dish. -The dish came with enough bread to share and lots of butter too! (ended up dipping the bread into my Bigos, not sure if that was a faux pas, but it was super yummy) 2) Bigos (Hunter Stew): -THIS IS SO GOOD, HOW HAVE I NOT HAD THIS BEFORE?! -Bigos, according to Wikipedia, is a Polish dish of chopped meat of various kinds (mine had a good variety and some tasty sausage) stewed with sauerkraut and shredded cabbage. -I'm actually a HUGE fan of tomatoey soups, so this was definitely up my alley even though I ordered it without having any idea what it was. -The dish came out piping hot, but taking my time to eat it was wonderful. -Not many dishes can elicit the comfy, toasty feeling of "being home", but this one definitely did! -Perfect for a chilly evening, it really warms you up. I would absolutely get this again or at least attempt to learn how to make this. We ended up buying some other shop items (condensed soup, Polonaise horse radish sauce, some imported chocolates) and some of the sliced deli meats and cheeses and we paid for everything including the food at the end. I am so happy to try authentic Polish food for the first time and I am so glad it was at European Deli & Bakery in Glendora!

Customer service is one of the most important things in business, and Joana has definitely got that part down. Food was made to order, freshly cut veggies and meats. Imported and unique in their own ways. Many options for deli meat sandwiches. Got the 2 meat sandwich, roast beef and turkey on a roll. I saw the roast beef being laid onto the bread.... OMG wanted to eat the roast beef just by it self it looked so good. Spent quite a bit of time inside the store while waiting for my food to be made, talking with the Owner Joana. Amazing and nice/courteous person, very knowledgeable in her craft/industry. If you request something she may not have in store maybe you'll be as lucky as me and she will literally tell and write down where to get the said item. Be patient on certain goods, the supply chain issues from covid are hitting small businesses harder than we are able to see as customers. Sandwich was HUGE and delicious :) first impressions are everything now days so this was definitely a great and big first impression, I will be back! I don't forget good people or good food lol. Good luck Joana and thank you for putting a smile on my face and belly today! Aswell as the great info on the imported Pate and jams.

I don't get it. After staying home for the last 18 months due to COVID, I am bored with lunch choices these days. So I thought I would give European Deli and Bakery a try once again. A kielbasa or bratwurst sandwich sounded so good. The last time we came here was in 1999. It was under different ownership. Back then when we walked in, there wasn't anyone to welcome us and the deli cases were empty. Totally un-impressed. Now, over 22 years later, with different owners, I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon. Except to two older gentlemen sitting at a table, the first thing I saw was empty deli cases. Any workers were probably in the back. I made a 180 and walked out. Prior to showing up, I tried to look at the menu on their website. Clicked on the Menu selection and nothing popped up. I found a nice story about the owners and how the deli cases are always fully stocked with meats. I did not see that for myself when I arrived. I did not stay long enough to even notice if there was a menu for sandwiches on the wall. Even if they do not make sandwiches, I would have been happy to purchase sausages to take home to prepare my own sandwich. I have never walked into a deli before and found there were no deli choices. As little as a month ago there are glowing reviews about fully stocked cases, great sandwiches, etc. I do not understand the change or necessarily believe those reviews now. I must have very bad timing to see an empty deli for only two visits in 22 years.
