I like this place but the inconsistencies in the meat preparation are very frustrating. I always order steak and lamb medium rare but it's only cooked properly half the time. Sometimes it's perfect, other times it's well done (see attached pic). Now the chicken is usually always cooked to death and borderline inedible so I usually stay away from it. The rice and sides are always good and the food has alot of flavor which is the saving grace here. If they could learn how to cook meat properly I would give them 5 stars. Until then they get a 3 from me.

We decided on Mediterranean cuisine for our NYE meal. The cuisine has so much flavor and got plenty of the basic food groups - rice, meat skewers, and vegetables. We got the rice, chicken and lamb skewers with generous amounts of hummus for one platter. We got another platter of rice, beef and salad on the other. Everything is so flavorful. The chicken was slightly dry but just dip them in ghee or hummus to get it just right. We had an extra container of garlic ghee left over. I used it to flavor fried rice the next day. We even ordered an extra serving of rice and fries but we didn't realize they would get us so much rice in the platters. There were also pitas where my kids made their own wraps. I highly recommend this place.

If I can give a zero star I would. Came in order 2 plates a bunch of people showed up maybe 3 4 mins after and and every single person got there food 1st. I wait over 30 mins I was the last person in there to get my food after 6 people that came in after me. All they could say is "sorry" extremely disappointed with the service girl in the front just said "mama I'm sorry I'm not the cook"

One of my favorites for sure! They are always so nice and although the food does take a bit, it's so worth it ?

It it’s Friday this place could do a better job informing loyal customers they will be closed. All Google shows is hours will vary on Black Friday but no where on the business door does it inform loyal customers what you operating hours will be on Black Friday. Not good and bad customer service for loyal customers.

The food was not good enough to go back again. I ordered lamb kabob and it was tough and tasted like it was not fresh.

Georgie's is one of my frequent go to places for a bite to eat. Garlic spread is to die for on a piece of warm pita! I really enjoy their flavorful buttery rice. Whenever I'm watching carbs, I sub the rice for tabouli or Mediterranean Salad. It's really easy to eat low carb here. They have so many different sides. My favorite side is the cucumber yogurt. It's sooo creamy and refreshing. It pairs well with the acidity from the veggie salads. The chicken kebab can be a bit dry sometimes, so opt for the chicken shawarma instead!

Food was fresh. Don't come Hungría and expect your food to be ready quick. Mine took over 20 minutes. Tasty hummus was the best I've had in a while

I'm gonna give it a 1 star because the food is great but the wait time needs exponential improvement. I get and agree with their mojo about great food takes time to prepare. My problem with them is that they lied to you about the wait time on phone orders by saying 25 to 30 min and when you get there 25 minutes after they say it's gonna be another 10 minutes and I say ok only for them to come back 7 mins after and say if I want to substitute the rice for other side. I say no to the cashier she then goes to talk to the cook and they have a silent discussion. 5 minutes after they come and say another 7 minutes. Yes, this actually happened, it was uncomfortable and ridiculous. I decided to cancel the order and the cashier seems a bit dumbfounded that I actually asked for a refund. Another gentleman was there before and commented to me that "it's taking forever". The cashier tried to get him to substitute rice for something else as wellI speculate that they stop making rice at one point in the night and try to convince people to sub sides. As customers, Georgies owes us the courtesy of being factual about the wait time and tell us if rice is even available to begin with before we pay.

First time visitor to this location though I am a regular at the Covina location. Nice restaurant, friendly employees, convenient parking and just like their original location, food is very good, fresh and well prepared. Chicken kabob plate with hummus is my go to dish as this always brings a smile to my face

The food was great and so delicious but I was waiting on the counter for few minutes to order. The cashier was busy with her phone and didn't pay any attention to me until the guy from the kitchen asked her to take my order.

Ordered 2 kabob wraps to go. Waited 20 minutes, and approached the guy on the counter. He said 5 more minutes. not too many people rn so I don't know if this is how slow they really are. It's our first time to eat here. Maybe the last

This place has the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The beef and lamb are super juicy and full of flavor. The rice and humus are delicious. My personal favorite thing is the babaganush. They don't cook your food until your order it there the wait time is long but definitely worth the wait. This is one of my top two spots in Covina.

Food was super tasty and didn't take that long to come out. We will definitely be back! Got the lamb kabob, hummus, and Mediterranean salad.
