This place is called Pho 1 now, and is primarily Vietnamese. The food is okay, but service was very slow. I was told my phone order would take 30 minutes, but it took an hour and a half.

We came to this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was yummy. We loved this spot very much and we will visit this place again. Warmly recommended.

Absolutely a spot worth stopping by, the food is good and fresh, the pricing is fair and it is constantly clean here. Highly recommended.

My wife and I used to enjoy dining at Home Taste. The food was good, the service was great, especially when Thomas was working there. Evidently, the establishment changed hands and it is no longer a " Chinese" food restaurant. The menu has changed and the staff has changed. Since we can no longer order our favorite dishes we stopped going there and we are looking for a new location that serves Kung pao, Orange-flavored chicken and General Zao, etc. I cannot comment on the taste or value of the current establishment as we no longer go there.

Great food, so sad they retired ?

The food is tasty and the proportions average. I usually go around 5 and it seems like I get the same lady. Very rude and pushy always rushing me to place my order. Biggest complaint is when I pay I'll receive the cash back but almost always have to ask for the coin change and receive a dirty look. And to ask for extra sauce I'm almost scared. I would give this place a 4 star otherwise. Because of her I have found another place after years of going there ever since it opened.

This is no longer a Chinese restaurant. Their specialty is some sort of a salty soup with raw meat and vegetables. The Chinese food they do sell does not taste Chinese. It’s definitely food from some other country. Egg rolls had some sort of watery potato in them.

The first problem is that they are trying to say that they are still Home Taste and selling the same Chinese food when they are not. They are named PHO and selling Vietnamese food. The sauces they use on what they call Chinese food taste funny and it is not the same. The egg rolls had some mushy potatoes in them and not the regular vegetables. If you like those soup bowls that they call Pho then that may be ok for you. I don't care for Pho and they have too much sodium. It is very difficult to find a normal Chinese restaurant now a days because the people making the Chinese food are not your authentic Chinese people like back in the day. Many of them are retired and their children are not interested in working in the restaurant business. They moved on to do other things. I miss our Home Taste in Glendora.

Other yelp reviewers say this place is still open. It's not open as the old version. It's been changed, therefore Home Taste as it once was no longer exists. People should be reviewing it under the new name. They might still serve the same menu, but the buffet is long gone and the place is no longer Home Taste.

As long time fans of HomeTaste we were bummed when we THOUGHT it had closed and been replaced by Pho 1. We stopped in tonight and found out that the brother of the owner of HomeTaste took it over. The food is great and the new owner Tony very friendly and welcoming. You can still get items from the HomeTaste menu, YEA! We also tried some of the Vietnamese dishes both were great. In fact I think the items from the HomeTaste menu are better now! Very tasty and flavor full and all food was FRESH! Will be back again and again!

This wonderful place has been renamed it is now called Pho'1 Vietnamese Restaurant. The best Vietnamese Pho and food I've had in a long time. The host Tony and his wife are very nice, welcoming, the place is clean but most importantly the food is freshly made and delicious , and the prices are most welcoming indeed. Please somebody tell Yelp that this establishment has changed its name to Pho'1 Vietnamese Restaurant.

This place is now a Vietnamese restaurant run under new management and it absolutely SUCKS! I had the chicken curry dish. The chicken looked grey and old. The curry was like bland swamp water... not flavorful. The noodles were soggy. The only good thing was the baguette. There were flies, too. I told my server that I didn't like it and he asked me if I wanted to take it home as he walked away (which I said no). When it came time to pay, I said I was not going to pay for it, they said, "We're trying to run a business here!" Then the server said, "You asked me about that dish beforehand." (So? That's no guarantee that I would LIKE IT!). They did not apologized and would not take it off the bill. I said I was never going back again!
