Don't let the looks of this place on the outside scare u into not eating here like it did me. I judged this place by the way it looked on the outside and assumed the food was bad. My daughter brought some food from there one day and didn't tell me where it came from and I loved it. When she told me I was shocked. I'm hooked this is the best lil Mexican restaurant around. Hands down everything I have tried from here is amazing!! This is from here on out my go to place for Mexican food. The service is great and the workers are friendly too. ?The refried beans are amazing and the cheese enchiladas and the chilieRellano is excellent!

Having to buy 'take out' for a spouse who formerly a floating manager for a chain of Mexican/ American fast food restaurants has been a real difficulty. We have tried many but she was often disappointed or they all the way across town or went out of business. Fortunately we tried Don Alfonso's which is only a few blocks from our house. She's been very pleased with menu items ordered so far (1/2 dozen visits) and I think we've found a winner. Extremely dependable and quick kitchen staff and cordial and efficient counter personnel. Regardless of the time of day, consistency in all facets of operation.
