I went to this restaurant last Friday March 11 with my sister and another friend. I had reviewed the menu online before going and had my palate and appetite prepared for a couple of items. When we got there we were quickly attended to, our drink order was taken and the menu had to be scanned from the QR code that was on the table, the 3 of us opened the menu on our phones and we all noticed that there were only 13 food items on the menu, nothing like what was on the online menu. I asked the waitress and she said that was the only menu they had, that was already a red flag. We had agreed to have our drinks and leave but then decided to order 2 appetizers. We ordered the deviled eggs and the cauliflower wings. The eggs were ok, somewhat bland and the wings were nothing special. Our bill came out to $94 WOW! We paid and still being hungry went to another restaurant in the village, shared our experience, and were told by the server that T Phillips is going out of business at the end of the month, it has been purchased by another restaurant, I believe "The Stubborn Mule". Thank goodness! downtown Glendora needs better restaurants that have a good reputation. T Phillips has been struggling for a couple of years since it has been under new management. It's unfortunate that the current manager/owner has failed to do well, the restaurant was closed on & off for the past year, not just because of COVID, for other reasons. Well, needless to say, I won't be going back there, they are closing anyway and their menu, service, and food are nothing to brag about. I'm hopeful the new business will bring in more customers and provide good food and good customer service.

I took my mother in today for a late lunch and couldn't be happier with our experience. We haven't been in since Covid, but we were greeted warmly by the crew. Kellie was our server and she was supper attentive to my mom. We both had the fish and chips and it tasted great. The place looks great and if you're there to watch a game, there are several TVs for you. We didn't use the outdoor patio cause it was too rainy and cold, it's nice on a beautiful day. I hope to be back again soon!

Food was pretty decent though the salad I ordered presentation I give a 9/10 but the amount of shrimp and variety of other stuff in it I give a 2/5. Other than that great pleasant staff and great service.

I finally came back to give this a try since they made a lot of changes and I'm a little delayed on the review. But I was thoroughly impressed. Patio seating is perfect. I got the burger which was huge and so delicious. The dressed greens on top provided a perfect balance to the beef. The flavor of the fries and ranch were bomb, but the fries were a tad soggy. I loved the drinks and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes. The only bummer is they close early on Sundays. We love a late brunch/lunch after mid-morning church, so we just have to remember to pick and early service so we can get here before they close at 3 on a Sunday. Excited to see how they continue to do. I'll be back again soon for sure. There are very few good breakfast spots locally that have just enough bougie and don't have diner feel for you and this is one of them.

My family had our last dinner with our service dog tonight, we chose T-Phillips because we love the place and it's local and we couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing the service was, Kelly was our waitress/bartender and she really touched our hearts with the empathy she had for us losing our beloved fur baby. They served our dog a hamburger patty for her last meal and we couldn't have asked for better company, everyone in the restaurant was so heartfelt and amazing I can't recommend this place enough. Food was fantastic! The fig and goat cheese burger is amazing along with the crispy California sandwich. The entire staff was so amazing thank you for your kind hearts T-Phillips team.

I dont do reviews often so when I do its either because I love a place or it sucks bad. I love T. Phillips. I have so many great memories here! I remember before my mom passed years ago she would love to visit Glendora and we would always get a beer here. I remember my much older neighbor and I would walk a few blocks over to T Phillips and have a couple too many beers. I remember striking up great conversations with people I just met. I remember the fun live bands late some nights. I remember the birthdays, the anniversaries, the football games (and i dont even really like football). So many great times here! Then Covid messed everything up. People stopped going out to eat based on media hype. Restaurants were strong-armed by unconstitutional mandates to shut down by hypocritical leaders with slick hair, nice suits and shiny teeth as if something out of a poorly scripted Hunger Games sequel that you wont watch again. T. Phillips has updated itself in many ways. They have updated and brightened the interior while retaining some of the old charm we all loved. Menu is also updated and there are still some favorites for those who have been going here for a long time. One of the first times I started going back I ate outside in the street and it wasnt the same. But now indoor dining is back, the waiters and waitresses are hustling and the food is tasty. So if you havent been for a long time give it a try again. Ive been back to T Phillips several times now in the past couple months and they are doing a fine job. I try to be considerate to all restaurants having to balance the mandates theyve been forced into... supply line issues, wait staff issues, etc. Its got to be rough Im sure. I do miss the peanuts and I always ask for the burger sliders since it was always my fave when Im not hungry enough for a full sized meal.

T. Phillip's was recommended to me by some random people I met at a restaurant one afternoon. After my first visit, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. My wife and I have been here several times since and we always have a good time. I appreciate the staff being so attentive and friendly. The restaurant and bar area are very clean, as well as the restroom. When ordering food it always comes out swiftly and correctly. I recommend the adobo chicken potato skins and the pretzel bites for starters. The Baja fish tacos and steak sandwich are my favorites on the menu. The bar area is spacious and the bartenders serve you quickly and make you feel welcome. They even make a conscious effort to get to know you. Parking is convenient. Outdoor patio is a nice place to sit and enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine. T. Phillip's has found themselves 2 regular customers!

Phenomenal service. They have bottomless mimosas on Sundays. Recommend for brunch or lunch.

The staff are lovely and worth a visit. The cauliflower appetizer was very good, unfortunately the veg thai curry was terrible. i just think something was left out of the curry (like the curry seasoning) and when one member of our group asked for a taste of a beer and the bar tender wouldn't allow it, needless to say no one ordered a drink

This has been one of my favorite pub bars for the past ten plus years. Due to the pandemic, I haven't been there for over a year now. I finally stopped by last week to meet a friend who had never been there before. I first noticed that the menu was completely revamped and went from pub food to gourmet food with gourmet food prices (very expensive)! In an attempt to find some familiarity of their old menu, my friend and I settled for their gourmet hamburger and fries. What a bad decision that was! The hamburger was not very impressive and the fries were completely over cooked. When I ordered a certain beer from their menu, the waitress advised me that they were completely out of it and also informed me that they were out of a majority of their IPA beers too. My friend who has Celiac disease asked to order a cider since she can't have any wheat products. She was informed that they no longer carry ciders. I was really sad to see that this place had changed from the neighborhood pub to more of a gourmet style restaurant. One good thing that was still recognizable of the old place was the outstanding service from the waitress and staff. I would not recommend going to this place if you are looking for good old pub food for a decent price and fresh IPA beer on tap.

The ratings were high and said food was great. It is a cozy environment but the accommodations are more for the bar scene. We had a lovely waitress but she seemed to be serving every table which caused us to wait a little longer than expected for a Sunday at 530pm. When our food came, there was a veggie I did not like so she offered to have kitchen cook more.....15minutes later I was pretty much finished and veggies came. My husband ordered a steak and fries.....$32. It would not have been disappointing if the steak was better than average. Our total bill was $109 for mediocre and half the meal cold. I absolutely will pay for a good meal but they need to advertise that thier food is simply "pretty " and is more toward $$$ instead of$$. So disappointed for a local spot....no, not returning.

Everything I've tried has been utterly amazing. Best French onion soup I've ever had. I'm a massive onion soup person so that says alot. It was definitely the best porterhouse steak I've ever hard. The tots with roast beef, cheese and Gravy is delicious! The waitresses I've had are super sweet.

So much salt in the soup... just left with an expensive headache but the server was really nice. And we did send it back and it came back the same. We put ice cubes in it to try and water it down. Also had to send the chicken wings back. They were a bit raw the first go around.
