Absolutely delicious onion rings and dips! There's only one veggie burger and it sounded like a bizarre combination of items, but it all worked so great together!The only issue is that it is like $17 for a burger and the fries I got were old, stale, and cold. I would love to come back but for the price, I would rather go elsewhere.

GREAT BURGERS...SKIP THE FRIES:Love this place for my occasional red meat fix! They have umami layers like no one else and because of that, I generally don't sub-out ingredients......Just trust iron chef Cat Cora!! I love the Montecito burger, but DO suggest substituting pepper Jack if you are sensitive to goat cheese aromas (like I am). I paid $25 for (3) orders of Truffle Parmesan fries and they were oily and slightly soggy...not anything to write home about and WAY overpriced. The inside of the restaurant is rather non-descript, but wouldn't you rather take home a burger masterpiece anyway? They also offer a blue cheese burger. Flavors are on-point. Seriously, just close your eyes and point randomly at any burger on the menu and it's a win-win situation!

I love the music selection here. They are playing nine inch nails let me duck you like an animal lol. Ambiance was great here. Very clean tables and floor. We both liked the burgers we got and love that this one has more seating than the one of the Mesa.

Cute little upscale burger place I got the Montecito burger to go which has goat cheese, arugula, mushrooms, and you can pick what kind of protein you want or have it with a veggie burger! Delish!

I met up with some family members at the Goleta Mesa Burger for what was supposed to be a pleasant Sunday lunch. There was an untrained girl working the till who had to be shown how everything was done, so it took a while to place my order. I chose the Mesa Burger, and when it arrived the patty was pink and almost raw. I took it back to the counter and the girl said "oh, did you want it well done?" She said they'd do it again for me, so I went back to my seat, and waited. And waited, and waited. Eventually I asked the waitress whether my order would be ready soon and she clearly hadn't put it in: she asked "what was it you wanted again?" A few minutes later, she served my re-done order - still pink and underdone. By then the rest of my group had finished their lunches, and I wasn't in the best of moods. I went up to the counter and asked for a refund. It took two people about ten minutes to figure out how to do that. Mesa Burger have almost doubled their prices since lockdown, but I have no idea how their customers can possibly be satisfied with this low standard of customer service and poorly cooked food. For half the price and for much better quality food, I'll stick to In-n-Out Burger and will be telling friends to avoid Mesa Burger.

Great place. I got a chicken sandwich which maybe isn't conventional but it was excellent. They put an allergy note on my order on my request (Celiac). Gluten free buns and dedicated fryer just for fries. The sweet potato waffle fries were very good although burnt, they should keep an eye on that.

I really liked the food. I didn’t expect it to be so gourmet-ie given that it’s a burger joint. The gal that helped me had such a positive vibe and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything else. Her name is Rowena. It’s hard to forget a name like that or a smile as beautiful.
