“I love FroYo and my hometown is severely lacking in good FroYo options. When I visit SoCal, I often seek out a visit to a FroYo shop. This Menchie's hit the spot for me. I came twice on my recent trip. Both times the store was uncrowded, and very clean. Toppings were well organized and tidy. Similar to most modern FroYo shops, there were plentiful flavor options (~14?), all slots labeled and available. Pricing is by the ounce. I filled my cup with 4 delicious flavors, both tart and sweeter and headed outside to enjoy on the patio. Sample cups are available if you ask the staff person on duty. Service was fine on both visits - only 1 person working each time. Menchie's is terrific for anyone wanting this particular kind of treat!“

The Stuffed Cheese had an herby, lightly salted and nutty flavor combined with the mellow white cheese wrapped in a soft dough. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. We all recommend this place. Next time instead of ordering pizza from Domino’s or Papa Jons, try Thyme Pizzeria. You won’t regret. “Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“

I appreciate that they are so accommodating when you call to place an order and they'll wrap the cake if you're traveling further distances. I'm obsessed with their cream cheese frosting and all the cane flavors are most and delicious! Not overly sweet and sugary at all. I love calling to place an order and picking it up the same day! The larger cakes are fantastic for groups, the little bundtlettes are the cutest size and portion for one! I love their lemon raspberry flavor, chocolate, and red velvet! “I've been coming to Bea's since I was a child. I love this bakery. I remember the original location on Ventura Blvd & Topanga Cyn. That was in the 1960s and 70s. Bea was always there, and she was lovely. Whenever a child comes into Bea's and give them a cookie. I told one of the employees about that. He gave me a cookie. We laughed, and I thanked him. They do have a nice sized outdoor patio with heaters, but they were not seating there when we went on Valentines Day evening (it was cold that night) It was very busy! Most dishes ran around $21- $25 range. Didn't have wine. I enjoyed the yummy bread, food and service, so we'll be back!!“

The menu was on the wall and a little overwhelming but I quickly figured out it was a build your own pizza or salad. I went with the Mod (small) margerita pizza and added bacon (yum) Kept it simple. They had fountain drinks which I did see until after I bought something from the cooler. There were some little cakes at the checkout that I wanted to try. They were wrapped like old school "ding dongs" (I just dates myself ) I didn't buy one buy my friend said they are tasty so I will have to try one next time. Prices were a little higher than what I have paid at other establishments like this one but I wanted to try something new and we wanted something relatively fast. My pizza was tasty. The thin crust could have been a bit more well done but I realized I ordered thin crust and I should have requested a different crust upon ordering. That was my mistake. I also should have ordered the Mini size. The small was too much for me. Regardless, all the flavor was all there for me and I enjoyed my pizza. It was a nice place for a party of four. We had a nice big table and sat comfortably. Nice visit. Will return.“

Our group was traveling from Washington State and selected this restaurant based on Google reviews and location alone and we were not disappointed. Our junior roller derby league intends to be back in the area at least once a year and this will absolutely be our go-to team dinner spot on future trips.
