La Fogata Reviews
I love the sopes and the tacos of Asada. The asada is fresh and is marinated. The tortillas (corn) are homemade and I love how the sopes are fried to perfection and bubble up. The filling is on the inside like a balloon. My favorite are the ones filled with picadillo or the ones with guacamole. Everything is fairly priced.
Outstanding. The food is solid and the people are very friendly. We stopped down on a trip from San Mateo to Nipomo, and it was so good we stopped again for lunch on the way back. We were not disappointed. Next year--2023--they will have been in business for 40 years. It is easy to see why: They care about their customers.

Great spot to stop by while visiting the Tesla Supercharger, called 15 minutes before arriving for pick-up and it was ready to go! Friendly service — we got veggie super burrito, a bean/rice/cheese burrito + avocado, small salad, guacamole and chips and salsa and two mineral waters, total was $46Everything was super fresh, tomatoes had great flavor, guacamole was large chunks of fresh avocado.Best option in the whole plaza for a great meal.
