I tried the Sopa de Albondigas. It was very bland, but i got a side of fresh jalapeños, cilantro, and lemons. Once i added these ingredients and SALT. The meatballs needed some flavor also, taste like plain hamburger.

We've always preferred the Gridley location over the Yuba City one. I don't know what happened, but we had the worst experience we've ever had at the Gridley restaurant. First of all, I made reservations well in advance and was told everything was set. I called 35 minutes before my reservation to let the restaurant know the number in our party had changed. I was put on hold and the person that answered the phone came back and indicated we were again all set and thanked me for calling. We arrived at our reservation time, and we were told there was no reservation. No one at the restaurant seemed to know anything about it. We ended up having to wait for over 35 minutes. My husband's ground beef enchilada dinner was cold, and he said the rice was inedible. I barely had any meat in my chili verde. The staff was nice, and we did get a discount on our bill, but we were extremely disappointed in our evening.Hopefully this was just an off night.

Overpriced food for the quality, quantity, snd service. I really wanted to like this place, especially since we love Mexican food. They were able to seat us immediately and the server was really helpful and available at first. When I saw the menu, I was shocked that 2 fish tacos cost $17+ dollars! Instead , I ordered chicken nachos and the street tacos as an appetizer. The chicken was dry, the tacos weren't that flavorful. The nachos were okay, but really didn't understand why their prices were so high compared to many other restaurants.

This is our go to taqueria in the back of the casa Lupe market. Hands down Best burritos around!

No refills on the horchata but I still bought another because it was delicious. The food is good if you're looking for something authentic and don't mind paying for it. The rice and beans were actually good, unlike most other restaurants.

In the taqueria inside the store they are lunatics, you ask for something and they give it to you reluctantly. I don't know the name of the person who served me but they are very unprofessional. As a customer, you go because you are going to pay what you ask for. Things are not free...I don't recommend. this place for nothing ?

Tacos, burritos and margaritas were really tasty. Downside is that the 3 meat platter had only 1 shrimp, and the burrito was small.

try the grocery store attached to the restaurant. the fresh meat department can customize you order for no additional cost. some of the meats are pre marinated for far less per lb than standard grocery store. on the weekends, follow the line to the back of the store and find fresh hot carnitas sold by the pound. get a couple pounds. grab a container of fresh salsa as you go through produce. in front of the deli near dried beans are unmarked white ice chests filled with fresh pressed (still hot) tortillas sold per 2 dozen. makes a delish lunch /picnic for very reasonable. feeds many and all will think you are have a foodie connection. .

They're sizzling fajita platter was actually really delicious. I had to knock off a star for the strawberry margarita. It was all right. The waitress was very unattentive and seemed like she just kept forgetting about us.

We stopped in for lunch, and first of all, my husband ordered tea. He asked for sugar. They brought 4 packs, and he likes his tea sweet! They waitress went to the manager her came over and explained his job is to keep costs down and that people waste a lot and that he thought my husband was exaggerating about how much sugar he liked. How disrespectful!! Then, the waitress expected us to know about things that are not listed on the menu. My food was cold, and the beans were salty. Not a lot for the price. Totally bad experience. I won't be back!!! 1 star for the bus boy keeping the place clean.
