Good place to have breakfast with the family, the bad thing is that they don't sell cold ones for hangovers, but everything is fine ?

When I go out for Mexican food I drive 15 minutes out of town to Nardos. The food is homemade and home style. The food is like visiting your grandmothers kitchen, clean, cozy and the food prepared with care. We ordered Albóndiga soup and Machaca breakfast with fresh handmade corn tortillas. The owner and her staff prepare everything with attention to detail. I always enjoy my fresh homestyle meals at Nardos. February 13, 2024

Best Mexican food in Guadalupe by far. Actually the best Mexican food in the US! It's a very comfortable and clean restaurant. The owner, Sophia, is nice and friendly and willing to specialize my order. All of the servers are friendly. Highly recommend!

Family has been coming here for years! Food taste like it's was made at home for a loved one. Menudo and tacos dorados always hit the spot.

Don't let the wrought iron gate and bars fool you into thinking this place is "uninviting" (my wife's words before we walked in) Because the staff here is so welcoming! Bruno informed us that they ran out of salsa for our chips, but also said that his mother would be making some more. It was SO worth the wait! And food was INCREDIBLE. So much so, that when we were done eating, we ordered something else to go for dinner later on - to be able to try something else off the menu. We are new to the area, but I'm pretty sure we found our new place to visit regularly for great Mexican food!

The food and service were both AMAZING!!! This was the best menudo I've ever had, paired with thick homemade corn tortillas!! The salsa was fresh and so delicious.

The chicken burrito (wet) was very good. The primary salsa served with chips was just okay. However, the two salsas served with the burrito were very tasty. One fire and one moderately hot. I recommend this place.

Great family owned restaurant in Guadalupe. Mother and son own it, a local institution. Great food. Great people. My wife tried chili relleno, and it was perfect. My chili Colorado was delicious. We ordered guacamole, probably the best we have ever tried. Bruno, the son was attentive and gave us a lot of local lore. Great place. Try it!

Some of the best Mexican food Ive had in a while. Came for breakfast and the food was on pointZ its a small mom and pop place. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Orders Huevos Rancheros. The husband had menudo and the kiddos pancakes . The pancakes were on point let me tell you Denny and IHOP don't have nothing on these pancakes. They were so flavorful you could eat them without syrup. The menudo was flavorful and the tripe was so tender. It didn't have that funky smell. For being down by the coast its some of the best I have had. Don't miss out on this place. The selling point for me were there beans. I know but if you could make beans that good you know everything else is going to be delicious.

The best Mexican cuisine for many miles! Everything is made in house and is super fresh! The tacos are some of the best I've had. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Man o man do not sleep on this places. Small simple restaurant. Nice and clean. I ordered the Asada con huevos y frijoles/ that's eggs and beans. Then on the side got some papas / potato and some tocino /bacon. The asada boy let me tell u cooked perfect to my liking. So was the bacon. Beans were fire . Potatoes great flavor. Eggs just like I asked. Y'all ever come through Guad as the locals call it, stop by u will leave a happy and stuffed Eggs Y Frijoles

Don't really get the high reviews here. The chili relleno was tasty as was my ceviche tostado. They use a lot of lard and the chips were thick and greasy. Salsa was all chopped onion with some tomato juice, no chunks of tomatoes or cilantro. Worst salsa ever. No beer here and that was disappointing. Clean enough but I would not go back. A few healthy choices would have been great and better salsa is a must!
