This place was a lovely treat! We were staying at Dawn Ranch, right beside Saucy Mamas, and stopped by for an early dinner. We didn’t make a reservation—please make sure you do—but they were graciously able to accommodate our party of five. Service was a delight—I didn’t catch the name of the beautiful lady who served us, but she made our dinner wonderful. The food was even more amazing. I wasn’t expecting much, because the prices were so good. I had the chicken, succotash, and mixed greens, and my friends had similar dishes and gumbo, everyone loved what they got. My only regret is that we were so full, even though we meant to come back for dessert a little later, we didn’t end up doing that. Pace yourself and enjoy the atmosphere! Thank you to the staff, for making our mum retreat dinner so enjoyable!

The team was really nice and friendly, but the food wasn’t great. The fried chicken was not seasoned at all. And for a place called Saucy Mama’s, they gave me probably less than a tablespoon of sauce for my entire plate of ribs. And when I asked for more, they gave me a tablespoon more in a tiny little silver thing I could hold between my thumb and index finger. The decor and vibes are nice though!
