Walked in and there was no one around except a couple diners. Waited and waited but no one came but could hear people in back laughing and talking Spanish. Finally saw someone walk by in the back and I shrugged "whats up". She got someone to come to front.I could have walked out with all kinds of merchandise as no one there!Their pea soup is always great, so we will be back but having no one watching the front..is a no-no. We were there Sunday 4-28-24 @ 11am
We've driven by this multiple times but never stopped by until now. It's German fare with a side of nostalgia. The veggie omelet was a delight, bursting with flavor, while the Greek salad was generously portioned and refreshingly crisp. My son had no complaint for the kids meal. Service was attentive, giving us a pleasant dining experience. The decor, adorned with memorabilia, veers towards the dated side and a bit run down, which might not appeal to everyone. Super cool Roadside eatery, with A Bar, that you just don't find no more. Celebrating 100 years. Chain restaurants are the norm these days... and PSA carries on almost as an anachronism, and thankfully so. Pea Soup, absolutely. And all else seemed approachable too. Barmaid (J-----)was an angel.
