So many options for in house made sausages!! Obvious owner and staff have great passion for the business. Beef stick was tops, texture and flavor nicely done. Tri tip sandwich was so-so, I'm partial to Santa Maria style where the beef stands alone for flavor. Portion was light.

Hello everyone definitely a place to check out however I tried their Italian sausage sandwich good sausage flavor but the sausage casing is extremely tough to bite or eat through . Sandwich bread was very very soft. For me too much mustard mayonnaise mix spread. For the price it's a bit expensive about 25% more than I'd like to pay because the size of the sausages are small. Good customer service and the staff is friendly. I hope this place can make some positive changes offer great hot food without the messiness. Not really a bad review but hopefully they see it and offer the hot food with condiments that a customer can put on on their own. I wish you well wolfsens.. just an honest review. Even so I will try it again hopefully it's better the second time so it's not my last time.

5/1/24 Love this place and the sandwiches are delicious no matter what you select! They even offer gluten free bread for we Celiacs. Please support them while road construction is going on in front of their business. It's just been two weeks and business has dropped off! I made sure to purchase extra to show my support!

I miss Wolfsen's, especially after trying Lockforde's sausage. My favorite is the Hawaiian with pineapple bits. It's the perfect balance of savory and sweet. I also loved their corned beef sausages. It's been years, but I remember bits of potato inside. My husband loved their hot ribeye sandwich, and my son and I loved their brownies. Service was friendly each time we went. My husband's cousin first told us about this place. He'd bring a big cooler and drive all the way from Gilroy. They served us pieces of sausages with toothpicks when we visited a few times, and we were hooked. It's been years, so we will drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to go back and check if it's still 5 stars.

I Use to always stop and buy the jerky & the old world linguica taking camping and Kokanee fishing at New Melonies lake rates right up there with corrilitos meat market and Freedom meat lockers

Wolfson is the best butcher and sandwiches in the area. I will drive from the Bay Area to Gustine just to get a brisket sandwich. The staff is kind friendly and helpful and their sausage is second to none.

I contacted Wolfsen's regarding catering for 150 people; their response was professional and prompt! The prices are competitive and we had a great experience with them start to finish. And the FOOD! We ordered tri tip, spicy Hawaiian sausages, Mac and cheese, potato salad, beans, rolls and green salad. Being that the food had to travel an hour and they made for such a large group we had little expectation, but it was just as amazing when we reached our destination. We have eaten the leftovers for 3 days and it's still great. If we have another event in the area, we will definitely be using them again. Love the dedication this store/butcher/restaurant has to the quality of their food and the customer service!

Outstanding sausage. Wolfsens has been at my stockton farmers market on Sundays selling sausage, beef jerky and a few other items. Im usually a Lockeford sausage kinda guy. Sometimes Angelos since those are our local awesome spots. Wolfsens is the best around. the flavor combinations are great, the sausage is great. I love that its minimum amount of salt added. They plump up huge just cooking them on a pan. Ive bought probably 6 packages so far and if they keep coming I'll buy more. If not, I'll be buying when I do my monthly Monterey vacations. Ive always heard good things about Wolfsens but now that ive experienced them first hand. I can say they are some of the best ive had period. Probably the best. Ill be back!

We traveled from Tracy, today 12/21/2023 - got here and its closed...no sign on door. Who knows what happened...maybe something beyond their control. We saw some workers in the street do some repairs to a fire hydrant and possibly they have no water. We got here about 9:15am, many customers coming to the store. Father in-law called the number and no one picked up. All looks good on the website...looks like someone finally came at 10am...still waiting to see if they open. Will review later....stay tuned
