I really want to try their rice noodle roll. Haven't had it for a long time so when I saw they make it for breakfast I was so exited. Sadly by 11am they all finished with rice noodle with fry dough. Order crispy noodles it was very oily and the noodles a single pile not easy to separate. Feel sick after eating the baked porkchop rice was sad. Does not taste like the original Hong Kong style the porkchop was over fried it was burnt. Very gross and greasy.

Hong Kong styled soul food. Pineapple bun with butter, delicious stir fries with wok-hei! Strong and aromatic milkteas. Nom nom

My mom and her friend went to eat there for breakfast and the service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. They were rude and disrespectful. One of the waiters asked " Do you guys plan to stay for a long time ?" and when my mom asked nicely if her food was ready, their response was " Why? Why do you need your food immediately ". All of the conversations were spoked in Chinese but I would recommend for everyone to tries for go, to go somewhere else to eat. - THE FOOD TAKES FOREVER ( 15-20 minutes wait ) - RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE Guys, don't waste your time; eat somewhere else.

Yum yum! The food was not oily or salty at all. Everything was great except their "yuan yang" - HK style milk tea + coffee mix. It was a bit bitter for my taste. Will definitely be back.

They have good food. Pricey !! I would like to give 5 but the wait for food to arrive is long and then, even though I was the first to sit , they will serve the customers that sat down after me. What is not good too is that when I call for Food to Go, after getting my order, the person that answers the phone will hang up right away while I was still talking , I was not done yet. Then she will not get my name or number or wait for me to finish and tell her what time I will pick up the food. It happened so many times that I have to call back and tell the lady that I'm not done yet. I'll give her another chance and if it happens again, I will have to report her to the manager.

Been here a few times, love the salt and pepper wings, horfun, and just about everything they serve However, they need to be consistent with the taste

Delicious Food Corner specializes in Hong Kong-style comfort food. We came here for a weekend lunch and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 2. The restaurant was lively and packed with families. We were given ample time to look over the extensive menu. Once we were ready to order, we had to flag down a waiter. Iced Hong Kong-style Milk Tea (4/5) - Flavorful milk tea that you can sweeten to your preference with the condense milk provided on the table. Shrimp Rice Paper Roll (5/5) - Delicious rice paper rolls w/ plump shrimp. You can pour as much of the sweet soy sauce as you want since there's a soy sauce bottle Beef Udon w/ Black Pepper (4/5) - Hearty plate filled with well peppered udon and beef Minced Pork Rice (3/5) - This dish was good, but not amazing. The plate consists of white rice, minced pork, over easy egg, and furikake. Overall, the Delicious Food Corner offers a wide variety of comforting food.

Back in undergrad, I would often go to a Hong Kong cafe called Shooting Star Cafe in Oakland, and that place always hits home. My usual order was either baked pork chop rice or baked seafood rice, and since moving down to OC, I haven't found a place that actually serves the dish, until now ~ The sole reason that I (plus my friends whom I lovingly dragged with me) came to this place was because of the fact they had baked seafood rice. In short, everything we ordered (pictured below) was delicious and hits the notes just right for a Cantonese/Hong Kong cafe. In particular, I would like to highlight the following things as my favorite parts of the meal. 1) HK Style Lemon Tea (not pictured because my hungry/thirsty self got very excited and drank it before I could take any photos) - the tea maintained a nice strong tea flavor while still being sweet. Very nice and refreshing for a hot day outside! 2) Yangzhou Fried Rice - I don't know what they put in their fried rice, but it was probably my favorite thing I ate my entire meal. Everything was nice and salty, and all the bits of chicken, shrimp, and other ingredients blended together very nicely. 3) Seafood Baked Rice - Similar to above, I don't know what they put in the dish to make it so delicious! I tried making that dish at home (because OC is deprived of the wonder that is the HK style seafood baked rice), and what I made at home could not compare to this. The seafood was not only super creamy but nice and cheesy too, which complimented the flavors of the squid, mussel, fish fillet (and other bits of seafood) incredibly well. On another note, shout out to the waiters who put up with me trying to order in Mandarin (which I had only been learning for about 4-5 months) and eventually giving up and just sticking to ordering things in english with the occasional "这个..." to make it sound like I somewhat know what I'm talking about.

Great breakfast special in terms of value! My mother chose this place for mother's day breakfast and at 10:30 in the morning there were several parties waiting outside to be seated. After a little wait, our table was ready and the breakfast menu was short and sweet, which made it easier to make a selection. On one side were the combo specials, the traditional congee options or the HK western style spam/eggs/toast options. Each entree was roughly $10-$11 and included not just the entree but also a side dish option (eg pineapple bun, chow mein, rice roll, etc) as well as coffee/tea/milk tea. The backside had an assortment of Chinese and HK western style appetizers/small dishes as well as noodle soups (noodle soup entrees don't get the side dish option or a drink). I had the house fish paste with lettuce congee. The congee itself was pretty tasty and I saw the shreds of ginger giving it a little kick. It was definitely a lot of food and I had leftovers to take home. Part way through our meal the lunch menu started (around 11:30) and those dishes at the tables surrounding us looked good as well. Not sure about pricing, dish options, or value compared to breakfast.

Enjoyable Hong Kong style Chinese food, but very average! We liked the minced pork and fried egg rice. The seasoning was really good, but nothing innovative. The noodles were incredibly salty and peppery. The other items on the menu were very standard. Overall, the food was decent and simple. I would revisit if I'm too lazy to make these dishes at home.

Came here for the first time.. I wasn't that impressed.. the minced pork rice had a decent flavor, but it wasn't omg this is soo good I can't wait to come back and eat it again... tge bbq pork fried rice was pretty much the same as any other bbq pork fried rice. Nothing really special about it.. the minced beef with fried egg was just ok. Nothing super flavorful or special.. I wouldn't come here again as everything here was mediocre at best...

Love their Macau Pork sandwich, best I had for long while. Fresh toasted French baguette, very juicy pork cutlets. And unlimited refills for their iced lemon tea. Originally I was looking for some congee, but it was sold out. Must come earlier, they are closing at 8PM now.

Order: Wonton Noodle Soup I tried this dish togo, and I'm AMAZED at how the noodles didn't get soggy! The thin egg noodle was perfectly cooked, even after reheating it, and the wontons were tasty. They reminded me of a Siu Mai dumpling (a common dimsum item). I would definitely come back!

BF says I get my comfort food from Delicious Food Corner. I mean, he's not wrong. There's something comforting with biting into a warm pineapple bun with butter and sipping on either lemon iced tea or warm coffee milk tea to make your day better. So on a mid Saturday noon, we stopped by to order: * Congee * Pineapple bun with butter * Fried fish sandwich * Lemon iced tea (with refills) All three are great go-to choices. For the pineapple bun, make sure to let the butter melt a bit first before taking a bite. BF was happy that the fried fish in the fried fish sandwich was crisped just right with plenty of fish included. Place can get busy during peak meal times. I would just grab a number and walk around the plaza before going back to check on waitlist status. Parking can get busy too, but it's not as bad as other Delicious Food Corner locations, so just park further away if needed.

I ordered a House special fish paste and assorted vegetables hot pot in my to go order. However, when I got home, I found there is no fish paste, only vegetables. Very disappointed. I will never make any order again.
