This location is smaller compared to the other JJ bakery in the area but I always like coming here. Service is always fast and friendly. The breads are always freshly baked and recently, I came to get a birthday cake for my mom. There were several good options and I settled on the mango mousse cake. I bought it a day early since I didn't have any other available time but it was still delicious the next day. It was not too sweet and the fruits on the topping were fresh and perfectly ripe. My mom and our guests loved it!

I usually go buy the the Chinese newspaper (World Journal) for my dad on my way home from work everyday lol, they have a lot of Chinese pastries and fancy cakes, you can get it by the slice, rectangular or whole cake, the strawberry mousse cake is really good, creamy and not overly sweet like American cakes. Today (2/15) is my mom's 83 rd birthday and I'm going to pick up a cake for her. The ladies there are super friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking and next to a lot of shops.

They got cookies, bread, pastries, danishes, sandwiches, cooked food, cakes, drinks, everything!It’s like Sunmery and 85 degrees bakery in one but with way more options.We got a few of the sponge cake flavors, curry empanadas, Portuguese egg tarts. The bread seems to be the most popular.

As we all walked out of one eatery we easily walked into JJ bakery as we were all craving something sweet. Business is small inside however, all 6 of Us crammed in too take a look at which bakery items we all would be purchasing. JJ bakery has so many items to choose from for every sweet tooth. I walked out with a few items ate them and then asked myself where were my pictures. Lol I'll be back most definitely when in area.

LOCATION: The place can be easily missed. There is shared parking but I had no problem finding a spot. The inside is small compared to other locations. SERVICE: The ladies that work there were nice. _______________ The cake I got was the 8" Vanilla Chiffon cake with fruit cocktail filling. The lady informed me that the fruit is canned and not fresh. The cake was still good. It was about $32. They give it to you in a cute box with handles. They include a candle and the utensil to cut it. The other pastries were super soft and delicious. They have a variety of them to choose from.

The mochi balls, I mean, never have I ever tried something as yummy as these mochi balls. Powdery tapioca chewy outer layer and inside it has sweet creamy goodness with fresh fruit. 10/10!

Do not buy any celebration kind of cake with strawberries INSIDE the cake, not the decoration type of strawberries placed ON TOP of a cake.They do not remove those tiny leaves on top of each strawberry and just cut the berries vertically halves and sandwiched them between two layers of cake with cream.Who knows if dirt and pesticides lurk under those leaves, I think no one would clean them thoroughly underneath.Why don't they just cut the leaves off? Laziness? Hey, that's one more cut per strawberry, why bother? Right? Don't complain, you were given more than your money's worth.We have removed ALL strawberries buried in cream from the inside of our cake.

I like that they have a variety of salty and sweet items to choose from (as well as sandwiches/bentos if you're looking for something more filling). Their cakes are really delicious and my family's been getting them for birthdays for ages. ☺️
