Be careful when leaving the driveway going through the drive thru. This has been the second time i scrapped my car leaving... the driveway exiting the drive thru is very steep. The first time it happened was noted for the next time. The next time came was more cautious but did more damage to my bumper. Don't think I'll come again to this location to try a third. So I would recommend going in or just be really cautious when exiting. They really need to fix the steepness

Went this morning for a burrito, asked for extra salsa the first time at the speaker. While paying I needed to clarify what extra salsa ment for some reason. Once my food was ready a new guy came to the window with it and asked if I wanted salsa and I asked for extra salsa a third time, he then threw two salsas in the bag, slammed the window shut and walked away. Felt like he was being specifically rude for some reason. I won't be going back, the $11.50 burrito was OK but the service was horrible. Looking at the reviews it seems lately that this seems like an ongoing issue and management isn't reading these reviews and correcting it or they don't care. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants near by that actually care and make just as good or better food for the price.

So disappointed with the owners of Pepe's !!! my family has been going there for years , Always enjoying the hard shell tacos with yellow chilies on the side. Earlier today I bought three tacos, I asked the girl for one yellow chili and she wanted to charge me $1.69! I was like what are you serious !!! Well from now on el bukanas down the street will be getting our business when we're craving Mexican food!!!

Food is okay. The issue is they over do it with bean on the burritos. For the cost of the food, we shouldn't pay for a steak burritos and get a bean burritos...The tacos taste like they are smashed to make them look as if they are giving you a full serving.I was disappointed with food service gets a five-star

Now that I’ve tried Pepe’s a couple times here in hacienda Heights I can honestly give my 100% review and the price is just outrageous for the quality of the food. Everytime I come the meat is dry, the bean and cheese are cold, the cheese isn’t even melted and usually never melts, the meat is fried and hard and over all I cannot justify paying 30-50$ for two burritos 2 cokes it’s just way too overpriced. I can’t justify the price since the quality of food sucks. Tacos Mexico is right next door, just go there, way more delicious and tasty food and they have taco Tuesday.I once came on a Tuesday and told them about taco Tuesday since their sign was up and they stated that “oh that signs old” I could have argued about it because technically false advertising and they should honor it but instead proceeded to pay 20$ for 4 tacos. I really wanted to love this place, but overhyped, over priced and no flavor. ?
