Nope I got accused of drinking in parking lot ,which I wasn't. They micromanage there guest. Go some where else. Not worth my money .. owner and his lil bartender whack. What if I was drinking in parking lot there's a liquor store in that lot what it's a crime to drink my soda .. tfoh he don't run that lot .. food is gross too.

Came in today to try the burger because I heard it was good, easily the best in the area, I was served by angel , her service was amazing. This place has more of a chill kind of vibe for being a bar. I will be trying more items in the menu

Only 3 other patrons when we arrived at 7:30PM. We were able to seat ourselves. My guest had a Jack and Coke that she loved. Rib Eye was a little too tough and not as thick as my guest was expecting. It wasn't bad yet it wasn't as flavorful as they were hoping for. My medium rare Filet Mignon was just perfect. I had the Stuffed Potato and it was much more flavorful than the baked potato my guest experienced. The ambiance was a little off because it seems the music needs to be fed like a juke box. By the time we left a DJ had been set up to prepare for the Wed evening crowd (?) I've heard great things about this iconic Hacienda Heights restaurant so I'm considering maybe this was an off night and should try again on a Thursday during Lobster night or Saturday evening.

Very clean. Staff was amazing. Didn't get to try the food. Went on a Saturday. Live Dj. Playing all the jams. Just wish the place had a bigger restroom.

5/5 Best service! Leah was an amazing bartender! Very attentive and friendly. If you need a drink anytime of the week, this is a great bar to come to.

I have no idea what this place is like these days but it absolutely was the neighborhood dive bar and lounge for this section of the Heights when I was growing up. After I turned 21 my friends and I visited to see what it was that our parents enjoyed so much about it and, after having a few rounds, the answer was obvious: cheap boozy drinks. Hopefully the tradition has continued! Once I came here with my parents and their friends, and one of the older guys got so drunk he kept trying to drink a bottle of A1 steak sauce at the table. Good times. I've never heard anyone speak ill of this place in my life so, there you go.

We love coming to Sunset Room! Service is always good even when they are busy or have big parties. The food is delicious, especially the jalapeno poppers and their sandwiches. Angel is especially amazing when we come for happy hour on Fridays...from a long week...great drinks! Thank you Angel for making our Fridays better!

The food is very good. The clam chowder is outstanding and the beer is the coldest in town. However, the highlight for me is the service and excellent conversation provided by Angel. My wife and I look forward to our visits every Thursday and Friday. Angel is our favorite!!!

It's a decent place, little dated, but food is pretty good, and I recommend going on Thursday for the steak and lobster special! Prices on mixed drinks are a little steep, and the drinks are pretty small, but overall it's decent.

Service: It was so bad. There was only one person working the ENTIRE bar when we arrived. We went on a Thursday evening for the steak and lobster. My dear in-laws took me there for my birthday. The woman who worked there was completely stressing, because the "night" shift was not on duty yet. Apparently, if you arrive before 6 or 6:30, be prepared to wait...a v e r y long time - even to just be acknowledged. There were quite a few "locals" who did not seem to mind, as they appeared already "well-served." When the woman (very cute red-head, I think) finally arrived, I said hello and asked how she was doing because I could tell she had her hands full. Her response was, "Busy. What can I get you?" Stoic and curt. Ok, I thought. She's not the flowery and welcoming type. Our table ordered and we eventually received our food. Again, barely any interaction from the woman. The food was lukewarm and rather flavorless at best. It is said that there is the exception and the rule. I'm guessing by all the raves about this place, we must be the exception, because we definitely were not seeing what everyone else does. Maybe we will be back at some point but we wont put this on a list of places to return to. I threw in an extra star because the girl eventually apologized for her coming off as rude. But this was only because she brought our bill and probably realized the tipping scale was dependant on her "attitude." Hopefully, management/ ownership will better staff their business and get the girl working here some much-needed help...and charm lessons.
