Very tasty. The balance of sauce to cheese and toppings was different than your average pizza. The crust was thiiiiick. Quick service too. I only got carry out but the restaurant was pretty clean.

Best pizza in the Bay Area. The dough, tomato sauce and cheese are divine. Can be a longer wait in the evening but that's because it's so good. Whenever we go to Half Moon Bay, we stop here. In fact, it's usually the reason we go to Half Moon Bay in the first place!Vegetarian options: The veggie pizza is delicious.

I have given up on this takeout pizza business. My last experience was using the app to order a pizza at 4:30pm. Arrived 30 minutes later as the app suggested only to find out the staff had cancelled the order without attempting to notify me. And were not apologetic at all. Then took over 90 minutes to complete my order that they took at counter. The whole time the staff acted annoyed that I was there. The excuse the staff gave me in the end was that I needed to order my pizza earlier.

Sold us a vegan pizza when we wanted vegetarian. Incredibly larger then expected. Pizza does not freeze well. The ice cream was great bit probably not ordering again

Easily the best pizza on the coast. Got the Humble Pie. The crust is delicious - chewy and crispy. And there was the right amount of toppings. Nice balance of flavors from the feta, onions, mushroom, spinach and olives. And they are on DoorDash! The downside is that they get very popular on weekends so it takes some planning and patience, but well worth the wait in my opinion.

Food is pretty good but both times it's taken over an hour.Today I ordered at 5p and 2 door dashers went to pick it up at 6:15p and said it wasn't ready and left.When I called Verrazzano's they said it was ready and had been sitting "for a while" and that I could come and get it.Wasn't excited about a pizza that had been sitting, so I cancelled.

I'm so disappointed I am writing this review. We've had countless pizzas from Verrazano. It's always been a pleasant experience and it's one of the best pizzas on the coast. Tonight all that changed. Ordered at 6:12pm through the app Slice. Was told the latest the pizza would arrive would be 7:23. We have newborn pups at the house so around 7:15pm I checked the app and it said the driver was on his way. So I watched out the windows to catch him and avoid the doorbell. No one came. So I used the chat option to get a status. They told us the driver left the restaurant and would be there in 10-15 min. 15 min later, nothing. I called slice. They told me again the driver JUST left the restaurant and would be there in 10-15 min (same as the chat before). Long story long, the pizza showed up at 8:18. Almost an hour later than quoted from a 6:12pm order. The pizza was lukewarm. I ordered the queen bee which I usually get and there was no honey on it. Add insult to injury, they charged me for sides of ranch. I think at some point the restaurant should call if it's going to be an hour late. That way we can decide if there is something else we want to get. We spent over $60 on cold pizza that is now sitting in our stomachs late. Prob the last time we will order from there.
