This place is quite during the week but really turns up on a Thursday night after 9. Definitely needs at least 4 bartenders on a Thursday. Security on site would be nice considering it's the same crowd who is causing trouble week after week. Current staff is very friendly.
Okay. Come on, it's a dive bar in a dive town. I moved to Hanford because my office is close. There are not many good bars, but since my wife is divorcing me, I'm looking for a place to hang out. One of the bartenders (Melanie) is awesome. The others are at least decent. There aren't a lot of choices, so keep expectations in check. You ain't going to get LA 5 star in a farming/railroad town.

The bartender was very good to me and I felt welcomed, even though I was dragging my suitcase and backpack, fresh off the Amtrak. It was a $3.00 ride to get here. She poured a proper shot( to the rim) and the lime was a fresh cut . The draft was very cold and no "dirty tap" lingering aftertaste.
