Food taste is goodVisited the place again after a month or so, craving for spaghetti. The owner asked me why I haven’t been back for so long and she was so nice & told me to try it first, see if I like it (free tasting). This time the spaghetti was good. Then after a month I was craving for CebuChon, it was perfect, delicious & crispy. I’m a big influencer of yelp & when i review restaurants/food places, I have to be honest & give constructive criticism, one daythe food I eat in the place may be very good & other days I visit, the food I eat might not be as good as the previous day. The servers are really nice & generous with food portion. I still recommend this place for Filipino foods.

I visited this place after one of my coworkers who is Filipino told me about it. We made sure to go on a Thursday so I could get Lechon!! The food was really good, fresh, and you can tell made with love, so much flavor and juicy goodness, I definitely recommend others that are looking to try Filipino food for the first time or if they’re already familiar to go here to get there fixed. The service was great and also the establishment was clean and warm, no frills. They also cater as well, and they ended up catering the Thanksgiving day meal for my job.

I was there for lunch and I love the ribs and their sinigang (tamarind soup)! I ordered meatballs and teriyaki chicken to go for my dinner. I will definitely come back!Parking: Easy parking on the side and behind the restaurant.

Our entire family loved Pick Your Plate, including my 2 young kids. My 7-yr old daughter said she would give them 10 stars if she could. The lechon, sisig, kaldereta, menudo, sinigang, lumpia (cooked to order so it was perfect) and cassava cake were all fresh and delicious! Portions are generous and great value for the high quality. Tita Claire and the rest of her staff are very kind and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

Big portion and price is cheap. 2 dishes combo cost $10.99, just nice for 2 person. Yummy!

This was an accidental fine. I've always wanted to actually have someone's grandmother make me some Filipino food. Well I actually found a place this lady that runs this place. The food is delicious. It's what I imagined and then some and they do a roasted pork on them Thursday. The only issue that I have is that they don't stay open later than 4:00. It's 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. but it's well worth the effort to get there and try the food. It's very very very good. Sorry no photos. Perhaps next time ?

Bomb authentic Filipino food at a GREAT price and amazing serving size. Everyone was so kind and helpful and helped me pick out my plate selections. I did take off a star because we went during lunch and a lot of items were already out, like the lumpia, and a couple other dishes. I did snag the last of the pancit and I'm so glad I did - delicious! I was really hoping for the kare kare but they weren't serving that day. Also, the labels were all outdated and I had to ask what each dish was. The food itself was AMAZING. I got mechado and sisig. And the portion was enough for both lunch and dinner. I do wish they were open in the evening so I could pick some up on the way home.

Three stars is on point with every factor taken into account. The portions they give are a good amount for the price and your stomach will thank you for being fed.The problem here is the taste. Though nothing is greasy or fattening, you are left unsatisfied. Bland would be an accurate description of the food and it’s not close to authentic Filipino. They have catered their options to an American palette. Many items have the same flavor as if they are using the same mixture of ingredients on everything and it’s ends up bland because there is hardly any seasoning there.

If you want fast food, better go early as they tend to sell out of their best sellers before noon (sometimes even earlier!)They are also our "go to" for our parties! They never disappoint and food is always fresh and delicious! They are also very accommodating. Tita Claire and Kuya Roger are both very hands on, I always recommend them to folks looking for filipino food and catering services as guests always raves about the food. The place is clean!

What a fantastic lunch experience at Pick Your Plate Filipino restaurant! The service was impeccable; the staff treated us like family, providing excellent recommendations from the menu. As for the food, it was a gastronomic delight! The flavors of the Philippines came alive in every dish, from the creamy kare-kare to the delectable halo-halo for dessert. The ambiance was cozy and had a nostalgic touch, making it a wonderful place to explore the diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine. I can't wait to return!

Always always the yummiest food! I fell in love with Filipino food when I lived in Hawaii, and it's been tough finding good food priced well in LA. I've been coming here for a while and it NEVER disappoints! The tocino is my favorite, along with longanisa and sisig but honestly cannot go wrong with anything you get here! AMAZING FOOD, friendly staff, and such a wonderful hole in the wall!
