Great food. Price, though, was a bit expensive lol. I believe it came out to be about $26 and I don't think the portions are worth $26. The veggie skewer wasn't too bad. I'm not a fan of vegetables so idk lol. Mushrooms though? Omg I LOVE mushrooms. I ordered online, so I didn't see an option to pick solely mushrooms, but maybe in-person you can request just mushrooms. Steak was cut into nice, thin strips. Shrimp was tail-on, which is great because I think tail-on adds some "fanciness" somewhat. I ordered the Miso soup on the side because I don't know what the salads were and I'm not much of a salad person. Soup was very light, not too salty, and it had seaweed (I think) and tofu (i think). Personally, I wasn't a fan of the soup. The place seems chill. There's booths if you want to dine-in and tables, which were mostly empty.

Parking is free and plentiful here. Nice location because it’s next to other shops and close to Costco. This is a good place for a quick bite to eat, I love the spicy tuna hand rolls and the shrimp tempura. I usually do take-out but I had time to dine in today and the place was clean and comfortable. Nice that they have Jarritos available as a drink option!

The food was OK the customer service was subpar at best. Ordered my food which came up to $40 after tip $46, I received my food, and asked for a spicy mayo and was told there was a fee with an attitude she didn't even wait for my reply. I didn't want to swipe my card for condiment especially after giving a $6 tip. Never again, mainly due to the attitude.

Chicken teriyaki is the only reliable staple at this Sam Sai.I really try to enjoy and give my local San Sai a chance, but margins must be tight at this location: no fountain drinks, only soy sauce packets when dining in (they use to have soy sauce bottles) and stinginess with chopsticks when dining in and pickup orders (4-5 orders of sushi and 2 chopsticks, 2 ramen and 1 sushi and a single pair of chopsticks), recyclable soup containers leak within 5 minutes of having hot liquids on them. This is the only location that I'm aware of that has tonkatsu ramen: I would not recommend ordering it due to weak flavored broth and too-soft noodles. The staff is always super helpful (like recommending not to order the ramen for takeout) and seems to work hard, the sushi and ramen quality leave much to be desired.

Great Japanese inspired food and Hawaiian food. They give large portion. Every upgrade to large combo seems worth it. Salmon grill was very good. Dumpling soup was quite Americanized but it’s still delicious. Sushi comes in a really large bite! I somehow got the idea from the Japanese words written in the restaurant that this would be pretty authentic. They’re actually very delicious and flavorful but a bit far from being authentic.

Sansai (山菜) is Japanese meaning "mountain vegetables", originally referring to vegetables that grew naturally, were foraged in the wild, and not grown and harvested from fields. They don't serve mountain vegetables here, but do have lots of salads. This is also one of my aunt's favorite places to eat. She loves the California rolls with chicken and salad. On this visit, we had that and an order of the Steak and Salmon with salad. I wasn't very hungry, so between the three of us we shared the two entrees. Service was friendly.

It tastes good but I think they use MSG . I got a little sick after having ramen. I am allergic to MSG my body reacts immediately. MSG is very bad for the body. What does MSG do to your body?In many countries MSG goes by the name “China salt”. Beside its flavor enhancing effects, MSG has been associated with various forms of toxicity MSG has been linked with obesity, metabolic disorders, Chinese Restaurant Syndrome, neurotoxic effects and detrimental effects on the reproductive organs.
