I went there 3 times and called them recently two weeks, the store closed with no lights , and their phone call voice message is full, you can NOT even leave a voicemail. They should update their close info on google and Yelp, so people will not waste their time to go there! It sucks!

Was a great place. Not sure what happened with the mgmt. They can’t honor simple DoorDash commitments. They make you wait for 40 mins and then cancel the order. Then a week later you try again. They charge you for rice. Don’t deliver it. Ask them and they say no English. Very frustrating. Great food but bad service.

Really good food! Smaller portions than I expected for the price. Wish the sizes were bigger but perfect other wise and very nice workers. My friend is a picky eater and absolutely loved the honey walnut shrimp. They don't have a parking lot so you have to park on the street. Can't wait to come back if I'm ever nearby!

Supporting local eateries.. I found this hidden gem while searching for something similar to tasty pot. I'm glad I came here instead, I ordered the sauerkraut fish with noodles, very flavorful. The portion was a good size for me, I made 2 meals out of the left overs. I also ordered the spicy shredded potato and couldn't finish it. The next day I just took it out from the fridge and ate it like salad. It was yummy, nice and cold, how it's suppose to be served. I can't wait to try other items on the menu. This is definitely my go to place.

Very authentic Sichuan Cuisine in Hayward! I would like to recommend to my friends when they visit Hayward. I like how their handmade noodles texture and their special ingredients of fish.

A little jewel in downtown Hayward!If the $30+ flagship fish dish is too pricy, try their $10+ Spicy-Sour Fish Fillet with Noodles. We always add one different lunch specials for our 3-member family. Leftover rice and unique homemade noodles serve for the staple of next meal.
U gotta b pretty good or pretty bad to prompt me to write a review, and down right special for me to give 5 stars. The food is different, and simply delicious. Authentic, in this case spicy. U can't shy away from peppers and heat for Szechuan, and they don't. U weenies out there can dilute with extra rice and noodles. The sauerkraut fish noodle and cumin beef are the most unique dishes I've had in a long while. At first the cumin beef is a bit overwhelming on the cumin, but after the kick of the first bite, all the other subtle flavors come out. Probably the best Kung Pao I've had in US. Looked like Christmas, lots of red and green pepper, though the chicken was perhaps a tad over cooked or dry, but still tender enough.

My family is thrilled to have found a local Chinese spot that is satisfying bellies (portions are large). This is not your run-of-the-mill orange chicken fast food joint. Some items like the sauerkraut fish and the cumin beef are such a yummy novelty for our palates. Vegan dishes also delicious. I hope they market themselves better, because we really want this restaurant to survive Covid-times. Service is super friendly although a bit slow. We don't regret the wait after those dishes hit out mouths.

First off, CALL THE RESTAURANT FOR TAKEOUTS. I dont think they take online order. I ordered two lunch special: the Mapo Tufu and the Sauerkraut Fish lunch special. They are both okay. But I'd rather they give me more fish than the extra stuff, like fishball and spams. I think the price for lunch special is very resonable. Would order again someday I'd give 3 stars for the food, but the additonal star is for the service. I love the service there. It was great, even though i had to wait extra 10 min after ordering takeout 30 via phone call 30 min prior, but that means the food was freshly made. So no complaint. And the owner offered me some suggestions while i was ordering, i think it was pretty cool.
