After we ordered within 5 to 10 minutes all 3 were ready. The nice lady put soup on our mini cup. That was a good customer service, but the wonton soup did not taste good at all. Next time I won't order that. Combination Fried Rice was good and not oily. The fried rice here is better than Asian Delight, Yummy Restaurant & Little Namking. Also their honey walnut prawns is very tasty, soft and has the sweet sauce on it. It's perfectly cooked and not hard. So far they have the best walnut shrimp out of all the Asian restaurants I went to. Little namking walnut prawns is very hard and it was so hard that we couldn't even eat it and it didn't had any flavors to it. Also combination fried rice had a decent portion wish they put more and walnut shrimp had 11 pieces only. Great experience here today and my family that moved out of Hayward use to visit this restaurant a lot. The wings is good here but salty.

Ok I have been going to this establishment for more then 15 years. This one has amazing memories of my and my love ones growing up. The food is good but since the pandemic the portion sizes have decreased. The customer service is great it's a small business and they care about their customers to be honestly not the best but it's not bad all. They are a small business and we have lots of fun family gatherings here.

I pass by this restaurant every morning on the way to work, and always wonder if it tasted it good. My boyfriend is Cantonese, so we are always looking for good Chinese food. Located in a small plaza, while there is generally parking. It's facing the main roads. We ordered food for pick up to go. The food here was... ok. I wouldn't recommend going unless last resort I suppose. The food does not really have much flavor in my opinion. I was rather disappointed. I don't plan on coming back..

We usually get our food to go but we were very pleased to come there for dinner too. We left feeling very happy and full. The people who work there are always nice and they are very accommodating of food allergies. The restaurant is very clean and they make the food fast so there's no long wait times. The best Chinese food in Hayward, but little to no atmosphere in the restaurant. But hey, who cares when the food is that good! Our favorites: the honey walnut shrimps, lemon chicken, Singapore fried noodles, and all the beef dishes. We have been coming here for many many years, and they still have the same owners. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
HELLA good, old school Chinese food!! No stupid fusion stuff, just food that's like you remember having as a kid when getting take out food was a treat & not the norm. The hot & sour soup is AMAZING!! I've got a new go-to place when I want Chinese food.

Hong Kong restaurant is a Hayward establishment for excellent Chinese food. One of the best for sure! I've been coming here since 2001. Last night I had the chance to revisit this "legendary" spot, only this time decided to do take out. Just like I how remembered. The hot and sour soup was on point (contains pork), the chow fun was cooked to perfection and not overly greasy. Their honey walnut shrimp was top notch. However there was something missing but I can't describe what that was. Maybe it'll come back to me when I keep ordering from them. Definitely a must try for great Chinese food. Recommendation: try their wor wonton soup (my favorite)

Takeout order. General Taos chicken and sweet-and-sour pork are not crispy and are very bland. The Chicken Snow Peas was good but lacked the chicken, only little bits of chicken in the box. BBQ Pork Chow Mein was good but the pork is a bit tough. Wish I looked in each container before I left the premises. Overall ok but probably won't order anything that should be crispy.
