Thank God we liked the food, especially the pupusas and the fish ?, very good flavor and the coffee ☕️, everything delicious ?, very good serviceThe only thing we didn't like is the atmosphere because the music is very loud and apart from that if the owner is Christian she should put order, because well we visited on Saturday and the truth is the music was as if we were in the cantina, a lot of worldly music and I don't just criticize I give my wise opinion if it is a Christian place that the employees respect the order of the owners of non-worldly music, because there are biblical texts and it is a very visited place and there will be no one to criticize then well my wise opinion is that the employees respect the Rules not to play that type of music, since that place was given by God and apart from that, if the employees are not Christians, then they must submit to the decided rules even if the owners of the business are not there, sorry for the inconvenience, it is just my wise opinion.

Craving satisfied! I recently indulged in the mouthwatering pupusas at Los Cocos and they were a hit. Made to order, each bite was a delicious blend of flavor and freshness. I savored both the classic bean and cheese pupusa and the mixta, both soft and delightful. To complement my meal, I opted for a maracuya drink, which was sweet and refreshing, perfectly complementing the savory flavors of the pupusas. Despite being pre-made, the agua frescas were served in generous portions and tasted as if freshly prepared. The spacious layout of the restaurant provided ample seating, making it a comfortable dining experience. Overall, a delightful culinary journey that left me fully satisfied and eager for a return visit.

May 27, 2023. First time here, def plan to return. Upon entering, you have to place your order first at the register. They don't take your order at the table. In all my experience reason at a pupuseria, it always takes a while to cook. So if you don't want to wait, you can call in your order ahead of time and pay when you arrive. Your wait time will def be shortened. The ordering process can use improvement.Restaurant is clean, I think they expanded sometime during the pandemic. Lots of tables to eat in. There's a restroom for customers. 2 TVs mounted on the walls.I got the fresh orange juice, so good! Ask for ice if you like it cold. Horchata is good too, a little on the sweet side for me. But it does balance with the spicy salsa. The platanos fritos con todo (beans y crema) was delicious! As were the pupusas! Good size portion pupusas: Chicharron (2), Revueltas (2), Loroco y queso (1), and frijoles y queso (1) paired with the curtiso y red salsa were so savory. Definitely coming back. Need to try the soup and yucca fritos if they have that. They didn't have a take home menu on hand & I didn't get to take a pic of the menu. Next time.

This was my first time at Pupuseria y Taqueria Los cocos and they have really authentic salvadorean food, their pupusas are delicious and they have a really fast service. We didn't have to wait to get a table on a Friday night. Make sure to order their horchata! It was really good.

This place is great. A lot of people in the comments compare them to pupusas from El Salvador but we don't have the same ingredients here, please understand that lol. That pupusas here aren't greasy like a lot of other places. I agree that pupusas aren't traditionally made with this type of bean but as someone also born and raised in El Salvador I can tell you these are about the best you'll find in Hayward. I know what the traditional pupusa tastes like and even though these are made with pinto bean.... They're still good. PS- don't trust the review of anyone typing "Salvadoran"

This place is my go to for pupusas. I think because I like the masa flavor. It can take some time for your order to be ready so call ahead. It's a super casual place so don't expect a super professional style in customer service. However, the women work hard and are nice. The four star is only because there has been a few times where I've received the wrong kind of pupusas. This can suck for me because I can only eat a two ingredient one but somehow the order might get mixed up. If you get a pupusa you know you might not know what's in it until you bite it. So this can be a headache but I still come back because the food is good and the ladies are nice. Also, not be picky but sometimes they taste better than other times. Not sure why but I guess it depends on the love that goes into making them. Pros: Food is good. They are clean and it's family friendly. They have many other options than just pupusas. Con: Have to double check your order which is hard with pupusas. Maybe just need a more organized way to fulfill orders. Efficiency.

I ordered pupusas. I didn't like them at all. Super greasy and hard. The red sauce tasted like canned tomatoe sauce. Really bad. Never again. Sorry.
