We ordered this evening from this restaurant and had it delivered through Grub Hub so paid a bit extra for delivery. We received our order in the time frame they promised. No issues there. We ordered: sweet & sour chicken, Mongolian beef, combination chow mein, & pot stickers. To our surprise, No sweet & sour was included. So basically we had just chicken nuggets. We were very disappointed. Overall it was just okay. Portions are rather small. It was also more in the greasier side as well.

Sunflower 2 is always my go to spot. Looking for a classic springroll with FRESH veggies - this the place. They're alway hot and fried to a crisp. Lunch specials do not disappoint. Next time I'll slow down and get a good photo of my lunch.

First time trying this for my husband and I through Door Dash. I got to hand it to them they have very cheap eats compared to other Chinese food places to eat. I had the Mongolian Beef Lunch special and my husband had the Garlic Beef Lunch Special. The description in the app said the Mongolian Beef was spicy with an exclamation point after the word Spicy. Boy were they right! As soon as I indulged in the beef I could quickly taste the spice of the beef. I wish they did not include the veggies in there as I usually like it plain with just the beef but the portion was drenched in veggies and I had to scoop around the plate to find the beef. My husband had the garlic beef but it did not taste anything like garlic however he did like it. There was Soy Sauce, Red Sauce not sure what it was for and also fortune cookies inside the bag. For the price we paid it was very much budget friendly but I would not order from this place again. Spend a little more money to get something better.

The only complain I have is that, there hours of work does not match google. Google said they are open when I came to the restaurant they were closed. So I don’t know when they are open. They need to fix this ASAP or they will loose a lot of business. I am sure it happened to other customers too.To the OWNER. Please fix your hours in Google. Thanks

Parking is very limited with only a few spaces in front of this place. Small portions compared to other Chinese restaurants. My husband ordered Garlic beef which had way more vegetables than meat and the sauce was watery. The egg rolls and potstickers were good. The guy who took our order had no customer service skills and kind of rude. Overall, safe to say we won't be going back any time soon, if ever..

I never thought I would like chicken fried rice (I would only order shrimp fried rice)--until by accident I tried Sunflower's. An acquaintance brought us some, and we were surprised at how good it tasted! Recently, we ordered 2, and it was way more than enough for each of us as an entire meal, with more to snack on later. The chili oil included in our takeout bag added even more good flavor, and, of course, a little added shoyu made it perfect.

I've got to give this place 5/5 stars, it's just that good IMO especially since it's located in HAYWARD of all places! My favorite dish here is the Mushroom Chicken, it is so good and I will try to order it every time I come here. I've lived in Southern California and enjoyed a ton of the tastiest delicious Chinese food in the San Gabriel Valley, Monterey Park, Alhambra areas so I do know good, real Chinese food. The Mushroom Chicken at this Sunflower location is just delicious. I wouldn't necessarily say it's similar to the awesome Chinese food in Southern California that I referenced earlier, rather I think it has it's own flavor, it's own style, and it just works really well. I've tried other dishes as well at Sunflowerr. When I go I usually order the Mushroom Chicken along with some fried rice and some soup, but the main thing this review is based on and the basis for the rating is the Mushroom Chicken. My whole family loves it, including the kids who can be picky eaters sometimes! Try it out if you're in the area!

Great food and great service! Nice little hole in the wall restaurant. I enjoyed my meal with my mom. The chicken fried rice and garlic chicken were delicious ad was the egg drop soup our server Eddymomo was amazing. Would definitely come here again.

The food is excellent but unless you like to eat with the smell of cigarettes I don't recommend dining there, get your food to go. He is constantly smoking right outside the door. Gross!
