Placed an order for delivery and just as my order was to be delivered the store cancelled my order—- mind you we had already waited over an hour for our food! Then we tried calling the store but they wouldn’t answer… not a good way to get the locals in for business!

Brand new burger spot in the new apartment complex on FootHill just outside the downtown portion of Hayward. Just a note - there's a Chipotle right next door. Parking is a bit tight but the staff is fantastic. They were very attentive and professional. They cooked me a great burger, made a nice shake and gave me the perfect crispy fries. This location didn't disappoint.

Stopped by to grab two sundaes and they did not disappoint. Everything was as ordered and done on time like expected. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I would def come back to this location

The customer service is lacking at this location. I stood at the register for 5-10 min with no one coming up to ask if I may require some assistance. Mobile orders and drink preparation take precedent over an actual person standing in line. Finally decided to order via the kiosk.

This place is still clean and new. It has convenient kiosks inside, but we prefer the convenience of ordering ahead on their website. Their customizations are relatively easy to navigate. Since this location opened up, we've had The Habit more times in the last 3 months than we have probably in the last 3 years despite them being right in Union City and Castro Valley! Typically, with chain restaurants, if you go enough, they're bound to let you down at least once - so far so good though! They have been pretty consistent and yummy every time so far. My recent favorite has been the Santa Barbara Char Sandwich on sourdough. We'll see if they can keep it up as the newness wears off. :)
The teriyaki burger is a amazing burger with pineapple and onion rings are perfect for appetizers.

First time here. Easy to order via the kiosk when you come through the door. The place is new, clean and the staff is friendly. Burgers are good but I love the tempura string beans and milkshakes!

Tasty mushroom char burger, onion rings, fries and tempura green beans. Combo meal is a good value for a burger, fries and drink. I love their fresh made strawberry limeade style drink instead of soda. It has real bits of fruit and mint. I like the Santa Barbara burger because I love avocado. It's so expensive to add it and this comes with a decent amount of actual sliced fresh avocado and not some cheap prepackaged guacamole type spread cheaper places use instead. Since avocados are so perishable. This joint feels a bit healthier than the regular greasier chain stores and more substantial than In and Out
