What could be better than an impromptu visit to our most favorite winery on a warm winter month day! We came loaded with a picnic basket of sandwiches and toys. We stayed till nearly closing time, just couldn't get enough of the sparkles. And the lovely, friendly Amista people are as beautiful as the landscape all around. For example: When a bowl of popcorn arrived , Harrisson, our 3 year old took a sampling and said 'but where are the spice over the popcorn?' It prompted a hurried trip back inside to oblige . Harrisson even said thank you. We love you all, Amista!

We were meandering around wine country and stumbled onto Amista. What we found was a delightful boutique winery. They focus on sophisticated wines that we have not found elsewhere. For example, they produce a sparkling Syrah. We had never heard of a sparkling Syrah, but what a great wine for entertaining! If you have a chance, do a little wine tasting at Amista!

Amista Vineyard is for all the sparkling wine lovers! This family-owned winery showcases the fabulous fruit and friendly spirit of Dry Creek Valley. The Amista has a lovely location with friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. We highly recommend adding caviar service to your tasting. We had a wonderful experience with Luke!

It was a bummer that all the sparkling wasn't available to try, but that just gives is a reason to be back in the Spring! The popcorn was a treat that went well with our wine!

We had a wonderful time at Amista! The vineyards are beautiful especially this time of year with the color change. It was a very serene place with really nice wines and great service. They brought some delicious popcorn to snack on with the wine. Also dog friendly and brought our dog some water which was much appreciated. Sharon was very kind and helpful to us wine novices. Would definitely come back again!

I was given the wonderful opportunity to visit this vineyard early in the morning to see the crew pick the grapes, meet the manager and the wine maker. It was a great experience and very educational. One week later we went to a tasting. Our server Luke was very knowledgeable , warm and friendly. It made for a very relaxing experience. The setting is relaxing and dogs are welcomed. I will be back with out of town visitors.Thank you Julia and the crew!

The views are lovely at this winery, but there are better ambiance's at many other Healdsburg wineries and better wine. The sparkling wine is so-so, I think some of it's overpriced. I joined and struggled to cancel my membership so consider carefully before joining.

Such a nice relaxing place. Luke was outstanding! Very knowledgeable and you can tell he has a passion for wine and wine making. Very cute tasting room and with walk ins welcome it was a nice refreshing change from the stuffy giant corporate wineries. Definitely try the Sparkling Flights!
