Super fun place to get a cocktail and dinner! Unique cocktails and tasty food! The server and bartender were super friendly. We will definitely be back!

The cocktails here look really good...but I'm not a cocktail person. The dinner/food menu online looks fine with a few things that looked great. In all there are 9 things on the website menu and the mention of a 5 course Tasting Dinner. We decided to go here and do the tasting menu. Once seated, the menu actually had only 5 items (not the same as online) and the waitress said they don't do a tasting menu? We ordered 4 of the 5 items. The Salad was just a standard salad, could make this at home any night of the week. The Lamb tartar was fine if you trust eating raw lamb from a place that doesn't really make much food. The burger was basic, nothing fancy but not bad....the fries were the best thing we ate. The braised beef shoulder (I think that's what they called it) was inedible. It seemed like it had been made and then refrigerated and then microwaved to death. I had trouble even cutting thru it with a knife, never mind chewing. Most of the dish was left untouched. Also, the wine list online was much better and a bigger selection than what they actually had. So, if you are just interested in cocktails - give it a try, but eat somewhere else. Two other points - it is small and many of the cocktails are smoked or the garnish lit on fire. As a result the place gets pretty smoky. Second, the manager or host was pretty terse and rude even though we had a reservation.

Great location, staff was fantastic and the drinks were unique and tasty.

Everything about the vibe and atmosphere are amazing! I loved the Burger just perfect and any drink Bangkok Truffle, the Smoked Old Fashioned but that FRENCH CONNECTION SAZERAC... life changing! But I can not conclude with out saying anything about the team, Dante, Madison and Bee were absolutely amazing and made my birthday so special and memorable, thank you all!

This is a really cool little spot on the square. The cocktails are definitely good, about the cost if what you'd expect for someplace focused on that. The food is also good but the value isn't there (too small portions). The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

TLDR: We came here during our trip to Healdsburg and loved it. Great cocktails. This isn't the type of bar that you'd expect to find in Healdsburg. This spot dark, viby, and gives the feel of a Mexico City bar with skulls, melted candle wax, and intense attention to detail. The staff is not prim and proper - they are refreshingly wholly themselves. The drinks are a work of someone who cares to do things differently. Burdocks brings a beautiful eccentric touch the this amazing town.

If Michelin reviewed cocktail bars this place would have 3. Super innovative, delicious and beautiful cocktails! Highly recommend sitting at the bar so you can see the bartender creating the drinks and order the Biggie Smalls. Amazing experience, will definitely be back!

Incredible experience that is pushing the limits of what a cocktail could be. The beverage program here is reminiscent of bars like Chicago’s Aviary or New York’s 11 Madison without any pretense. The aesthetic is beautiful and the staff is humble while being impeccable.

Very cool vibe, fabulous drinks and good food. Small setting so highly recommend reservations although staff tried to accommodate walk-ins. Service was friendly and helpful with selections. It's all about the cocktails here so don't come for wine.

First time dinning here. Everything was fantastic. The ambiance was laid back and comfortable. Service was great. The food menu is small but really well executed, the octopus w chorizo was so good and the cocktails were creative and delicious. Spot on.

We can't say enough about our latest discovery - Burdock. On the green in Healdsburg !!!! Our experience was over the top ! Upon a strong recommendation from Open Table, we decided on dinner for a Sunday night. We tried most of their menu and were extremely delighted by all choices. Bass, octopus , short ribs. Also exceeding expectations was the staff we interacted with. Owner Dante embraced us by explaining everything from the dining/drinks menu to the restaurant's origins to local cycling opportunities !! At the bar, Connor was most colorful and engaging. We had arrived with our usual Sonoma area expectation of red wines. However, his extensive and eclectic drink menu called to us. Burdock was truly a rare find outside our norm. We will be back, next time with friends. You should too!!!

I would go back a million times just for the service. The server is a peach, the bartender is a babe, the floor manager is charming, and the vibe is swanky but approachable. The price point on all the offerings is high, but the value is definitely there. The crème brûlée margarita is FIRE FIRE FIRE. Balanced and delicious. Very creative for such a small and insular town. You can tell whoever is running the bar program has a load of experience. Side note: do yourself a favor and get a salmon

I went to this place based on the 1 star review Alfonso G wrote. I had to check this Studio 54 type bar out that has a tattooed bartender, he sounds hot. The drinks were not as Alfonso G had wrote about. They were over the top and breathtaking. Everyone was taking pictures of the cocktails, as was I. Great job Burdock. However, I did have to wait to get in. It is a busy place. Question for Alfonso: Your from Soma, but your reviews are only based in Healdsburg? Secondly, being from the City myself, what High School did you attend in the Soma? Exactly! Fake people = Fake reviews

Walking in we had great expectations, but unfortunately I must report that this place is trash. Would it kill the tattooed bartender to smile once? Or say thank you? Or be gracious? If his drinks were good I could understand the aloof Studio 54 attitude, but these drinks were overly sweet and lacked balance (maybe to make up for the salty & surly attitude?) The food was a bit better than the bar service, but we still left hungry. After signing the bill, we couldn't help that we just got clipped in a tourist trap, not unlike the poor service and lack of quality you'd experience on Bourbon Street or Times Square. Before you go, just know that this is the place on the Healdsburg Plaza that serves $20+ cocktails, that could care less whether you feel appreciated, and when you're leaving you're going to step over puke on the sidewalk from the night club next door.
