In full disclosure one’s taste in wine varies greatly, I get it - but for someone who’s visited +200 wineries in the state and is a bit of a pinot noir connoisseur (& no not a snob) this place was run like a corporate office yet is family owned. Case in point I tried 3 of their ‘21 pours all were very ‘bright’ acidic, tannic but lacking fruit - pretty close to undrinkable not good regardless of rating posted, when I commented after being asked - feedback was sorry…the end - not oh let’s open up another bottle from a different region and try a to align preferences etc feedback was “my manager won’t let me open up any new bottles”, who btw never bothered to engage with me directly nor was any form of goodwill offered except “oh I hope you come back and like it better the next time” - wow how obtuse - I was polite, paid and left - there are too many other quality wineries and tasting experiences to waste time on this place.

Lisa was great. Love these wines.

Most excellent wine! The downtown Healdsburg CA tasting room is conveniently located across from town square within walking distance to many fine restaurants and drinking establishments!

Lisa is a wonderful host and the person to check out at this location! Very knowledgeable about the history of the winery and wines. Enjoy a nice walk and food in the square after your visit! Planning our next tasting soon. Highly recommend!

One of the best producing Pinto Noir companies in my opinion. Lisa was so nice. We have been members the winery for years. They are consistent with making great wines.

We found this place simply because it was open at 10:30 and most other tasting rooms open at 11:00 or 12:00. We had a great experience here, definitely worth a visit.

We stumbled upon this tasting room at 11am. Little did we know how much fun we were about to have. Jeremy is not only very knowledgeable about wine, but his humor and wit rivaled that knowledge. We enjoyed several nice tastings and left newly anointed club members! Thanks Jeremy - we will be back!!!

Very warm welcome by Jenny and another associate. Superb wine to explore on a pretty outdoor patio.

We really enjoyed our tasting and bottle of wine today!! Lisa was great. They have comfy chairs and great music. The Seascape Chardonnay was fantastic. Nice atmosphere. No food. Lindy was super helpful too! Thanks for a nice relaxing tasting!!

The tag line says high personality wines, they are not lying. I'm glad we went here instead of one of the big places nearby. Staff was very friendly

Came by for an afternoon tasting while out in down town Healdsburg with a friend. Hartford has done a beautiful job with the interior design of their tasting room - it feels fancy, definitely the "Healdsburg" aesthetic you expect for the area. The set up at the tables came with a map and cool looking wine list. I was a little bummed our host didn't go over the map with us or give us a whole lot of info regarding the wines being served. We did get to try a few wines not on our flight list which is always a nice treat. While the wines we tried didn't completely wow me, it was still an overall pleasant experience. If the weather permits I definitely recommend the outdoor seating.

Fabulous wines, truly. I was lucky enough to have a coworker recommend this place and have been returning to it every trip to Healdsburg since. Plus the staff is attentive, welcoming and fun!

After many fantastic tastings at the winery over the years, this was our first experience at the Healdsburg tasting room...and it will be our last. Regardless of the quality of the wine (and it was good), the staff was cold and clearly unengaged. It felt like they were doing us a favor and really didn’t want to spend any time with us. We cut short the tasting and left without buying anything because of this. May consider visiting the winery again in the future, but with the number of producers of quality zin and Pinot in the area, we can skip Hartford and not even notice. Sad....
