Small, family owned winery on the edge of Dry Creek valley. They have a small barn and outdoor area for tasting. Very low key and quality time was spent with us talking about the wine and family. The tasting felt very personal and intimate. Wine varietals were different than other locations and very good. It's off the beaten path, but worth going out of the way..

My boyfriend and I visited Mounts Family Winery in December of 2022. The wine and views were amazing, but the service from owner Lana was phenomenal. She was friendly and informative, and gave an overall great experience. I have been wanting to plan another visit to this winery as soon as I can.

The Ambiance was unlike anything we've experienced in 35+ years in Wine country. We loved their wines (many unique varietals) So impressed, that we are now members of their wine program. Second time here at mounts family vineyard- and just so much fun. Lana, the proprietress, is so knowledgeable and such a good storyteller, not to mention a green thumb. We laid out a picnic and I almost regret eating while we were drinking the tasty (and interesting) wines. A spectacular view, a family establishment (started in prunes and slowly converted to grapes in the 50s) and wonderful conversation... what more could you want?

This was the beginning of our trip to Sonoma and what a pleasant surprise. We were pleasantly welcomed at the winery basement, which is full of rich (family) history. The wines are pretty delicious, and definitely recommend to anyone out in Sonoma.
A charming family vineyard, warm and welcoming complete with wine dogs. Each wine available was well balanced and enjoyable. A perfect, cozy stop.
