Went to Porter Creek during the Wine Road Barrel Tastings weekend in Sonoma. We were greeted at the parking lot by their two friendly dogs Poppy and Paco.We followed the little hosts (dogs) up the road to where they had set up the tent for the barrel tasting. It was rainy and cold but there were heaters to keep us warm.The barrel tasting of pinot noirs were pretty good. After that we went into the tasting room and tried the current pinot noirs. So good! We bought a few bottles to go.

We recently visited the Porter Creek Winery and had an amazing visit, we have been there a few times. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to give us a memorable visit, he has been at Porter Creek for 19 years and makes you feel as part of the family. The wines are fabulous, truly enjoyed all that he poured. The setting is like no other winery, very laid back and fun. This is a most stop if you are in the area. Look forward to visiting again next year.

The Fiona Hill pinot is fantastic. Lovely tasting. Awesome staff. Beautiful vineyard. Feels like you're part of the family, just hanging out in the yard, tasting wine. Love this place!

While there was no food, we did get the vineyard table and really enjoyed Chrystal's service. Overall we enjoyed the wines we tasted and appreciate a sustainable farm. We have a few bottles being shipped to try with different foods which will allow us to review them in another light.

Jonathan was absolutely outstanding as a host. He really took time with us to talk about the wine, gave generous and extra pours, and talked enough with us to find out what we liked. No pressure to buy anything although we did. Overall experience was fantastic, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

Family run winery. Unpretentious, very friendly. Mike our host was great. Very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to, spent time with us. Outside seating was wonderful. Peaceful grounds, nice atmosphere. Wines were very impressive. The tasting pours were very generous. Bought a case, they were so good.

It was a beautiful day for wine tasting! I've never been to a wine tasting or a vineyard, so it was just simply lovely! I apologetically cannot remember our gentleman's name that gave us the tasting...I'm sorry! He made the experience even more special explaining everything about how they make the wine, and the different grapes they grow. I had alot of questions and he answered all of them. The wine was delightful! We bought a bottle of white wine because that's my favorite...and our server gave us a bottle of red because our anniversary was the next day...and that is my husband's favorite sooo Thank you that was unexpected! Anyone should go experience wine tasting at Porter Creek Vineyards it's close to Guerneville and well worth your trip! Thank you for everything!!!

Such a homie place! Beautiful view! I love the shaded tables and the chickens clucking around! We enjoyed every wine there for the first time. We didn't get to try the food but would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Porter Creek. Jonathan was an excellent host and shares the history of the winery with depth and humor. The wines are so tasty, we left with 5 bottles! (FYI we did not have any food there and I don't believe they serve food, but there is not an n/a option for moving through this review platform)

Jonathan knows the property, vineyards, wines, vintages and history like no other. If you want a relaxed, rustic, farm vibe for a wine tasting, this is your spot. The wines are quality because their winemaking and vineyard management team pay attention to a vintage, harvest, and the variety. Their wines properly represent the region, so that you know this is what Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Zinfandel should taste like from a Westside Road venue.
