Much more than tea. We have been going to The Taste of Tea for many years and appreciate the fresh flavors of their ramen and all of their dishes. The service is attentive and helpful with menu choices. Their outdoor parklet is one of the best in Healdsburg.
It started as a tea place and it still is but now it's also a spectacular Ramen place. Very knowledgeable people if you are more curious about tea. They do hot and cold brew. It's not on the main drag, so put it in your GPS because you won't just walk by it.

I love coming here for my lunch! I usually order ahead over the phone and pick my food up. My food is always ready at the promised time. I get the miso ramen spicy with no egg. I love it! Depending on the weather, I either get an iced tea or hot tea. Their blue butterfly drink is yummy and a beautiful blue color. I love this place!

As Healdsburg locals, this is one of our favorite go-to spots for lunch. We love being able to take our boys (dogs) to sit with us in the parklet. We almost always get the curry udon bowl, especially during the fall and winter. it's the perfect size and flavors for this time of year.

Charming little spot with delightful decor and excellent attention to detail. The quality of the food was top notch - gyoza and ramen in particular. Menu has some unique offerings, and the Japanese craft beers and sake/tea cocktails were wonderful.

The Taste of Tea is lovely and the decor seemed automatically Japanese. We sat inside, although the outside seating looked appealing, too. The menu sounded great with many of my favorite items. I close Teriyaki Chicken Donburi, as I love all of those things. However, I was disappointed because it didn't taste like teriyaki, there wasn't much chicken and the vegetables just didn't thrill me, in whatever sauce they were in. I had the feeling the chef was trying too hard to be different. It came with a small dinner salad, which was mostly lettuce and I think the dressing was a ginger vinaigrette that neither my husband or I liked. My husband ordered the pickle appetizer, which was outstanding, as several of the pickles had more zing than most Japanese pickles. Some were spicy hot. The much more successful choice was my husband's main course, which was Chirashi and he said it was one of the best he'd ever had, and he orders it in every Japanese restaurant we go to. I had one of the shrimp and it was delicious. We rarely order dessert, but we were so glad we did. He had Yuzu Sorbet, from Japan and I had the Black Sesame ice cream which was so good I wanted to lick the beautiful bowl it was served in. As I said, the atmosphere was so pleasant and we were surprised to find the back wall filled with beautiful tea sets, tea and many Japanese treasures, that were for sale. We love being in Japan and we felt like we'd had a mini holiday there.

The Taste of Tea was a perfect match for what we needed Friday night: relaxing, delicious, and a donation to a good cause as extra. The ramen was especially good. The service was perhaps a bit too attentive. Taking away my partner's empty dishes before I was finished with my own felt a little rushed. The neighboring wine tasting place allows their wine to be taken to the outdoor seating and the waiter graciously returned the empty glass there for us as well. A nice touch. All in all: nice people, good food, calm and warm atmosphere. Can't ask for much more these days!

Wonderful Japanese food, with the most gracious service in town! This is a great place for an early dinner with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s excellent value for the money. All the entrees we’ve had are fabulous and for dessert don’t miss the spectacular sponge cake!

This is without a doubt the best ramen that my taste buds have had the privilege to experience. Of all the ramen/soup restaurants that I have tried in my 27 years, this restaurant holds the absolute best tasting ramen. Words fail to describe the wondrous decadent stupendous flavor, it is a MUST try for all ramen lovers. I deeply regret taking this long to give the restaurant a chance, I sincerely hope you do not make the same mistake.

another wonderful meal at taste of tea. the special ramens were SO good. we just may have to go back while they are still available so we can have again. excellent, attentive service as always and so grateful for their support for our very local, small performing arts theatre. they donated portions of our meals to the theatre and we love their community support!
