This place is not very good, it is not what you would expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant. The dishes are sloppily put together and the sauces very bland. The chicken and beef can be very tough. If you're looking for a cheap lunch you'll get what you pay for in taste and quality. Spend the extra time to go to Golden Ginger which is what you would expect from a quality Chinese restaurant. The identical dishes at these two restaurants are not even comparable. I stopped wasting my money here and now take the extra 7 minute drive to Golden Ginger because the quality and taste are so much better at the same price. You also get more.

This is definitely the best Chinese food in Hemet bar none. Every time I have been here my order has been freshly cooked and so hot that I can barely eat it at first. Not spicy hot just temperature hot the way Chinese food should be served. There's shrimp is generous and fresh the vegetables are crunchy and have a large variety. Everything I have ever eaten here is really good. At lunch time when they serve an egg roll with their meal the egg roll is straight out of the fryer and again too hot to eat! I love China garden!

Good food. Reasonable prices. The sweet and sour chicken was a little hard but the Thai Curry and the chicken with bean sprouts was really good. Will be going back.

Ordered take out last night at around 6. Food was sub par. Sweet and sour pork was under done and unsauced. Fried wonton was goopy with uncooked dough. Very disappointing. Will not come afain

Not as good as it used to be :( I used to come here as a kid a lot. Our tea wasn’t sweet and We never used to have to ask for it to be. Most of the food tasted expired or bad, the egg drop, lo mein, and honey walnut shrimp was pretty good. The person I shared with insisted everything tasted off but I didn’t taste it until the dough for our wontons and egg rolls tasted like they were expired and the homemade sauces don’t taste like they used to. If it’s under new ownership, I don’t recommend the new owners keep the name of China Garden Bc this is definitely not it.

Very sad.. this used to be our monthly go-to for good Chinese food (sometimes weekly lol) After they switched owners, we've tried it a couple times and it's been very bad but we had hope the food would improve... tonight is our last visit, the food was beyond bad and smelled rancid so we threw most of it away. We really loved this place but it's officially gone.. well find another go-to. So sad.
