Our family loved Sweet Baby Janes and were regular customers. With this new ownership under "Sweets Bar and Grill", we no longer feel the same. Came in on Saturday evening to a mostly empty place with ok music. They had removed the original bar booths and replaced with small chairs and tables, you can still see where the screws attached to the walls that still have the old holes and are just plain dirty and gross. It felt grungy and frankly made us lose our appetites. They could have at least patched up the huge holes and repainted. The bathroom was also horrible, dirty. Now the food: we ordered the jalapeño poppers, BBQ sample platter with tri-tip, brisket, a beef rib and baby backs, mac n cheese, beans, cornbread and salad. The meat was a huge disappointment: totally bland, no smoke flavor tasting like it was reheated and we normally pass on the sauce but this time needed the sauce to make the meat edible, the poppers were good but hit or miss on the brisket pieces that the old poppers were known for. We miss the old place, walking up to the smokers still giving off the smoked bbq scent in the air with delicious bbq. Needs an overhaul in aesthetics and quality. Sad. Wont be returning unless they fix these issues.

Went for BBQ but they have a NY strip special with shrimp. The shrimp was good and the fries too but the steak was overcooked and bland. I know it's a cheap steak and on special but wow was it tough and no flavor. The pepper at the table just doesn't work well enough. Next time I'd 100% be sure to get the BBQ plate.

When I first tasted the ribs on my way to work that smell was finger licking good the BBQ baby back ribs. I order that day had my mouth watering over the tasty nest juiceness I had just gotten done tasting the ribs then moved on to my onion rings were just perfect in flavor and now I cant go anywhere else.Parking: Small but its great if your on the go like I was

Excellent food and service this time. The sliders are killer and they still have the best soups in town. Very relaxed atmosphere with live music in the bar at night.

We didn't make pass the waiting area we where waiting 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged us it wasn't busy so I can imagine the service there well that was an experience

I wasn't too impressed. We ordered the sampler platter for two, and it was not as good as I was expecting. The tri-tip was dry, the brisket seemed like we got the bottom of the barrel, and the Mac n Cheese was watery. Also, the steak fries had no seasoning to them. We did like the sweet butter that comes with the (very dense) cornbread. The breakfast here is good, but I won't be returning for lunch or dinner.

Food was just okay- my husband got the frisco burger which the menu said came with onions yet they weren't there- but avocado was- and that wasn't listed at all- and it was bland the coleslaw was super sweet and an odd pinkish color, lettuce for my salad was old and discolored on the edges Catfish tasted like nothing but the batter Was a bummer to spend over $100 for just a meh meal

Good was decent, service rushed despite being 1 of 2 parties in the entire place. Music made it too loud to talk, so we boxed up our food and left.
