First time here. Chips & salsa are good, love that it's not too spicy! I ordered steak picado & hubby ordered menudo. Hubby said menudo was tasty, it only comes with an order of 2 tortillas so make sure you order extra if that's your thing! I ordered steak picado, plate was bland, beans no flavor & rice was oily. Salad that came with the meal was fresh & 1000 island dressing was good. Waiter was great, customer service was excellent.

My wife and I have eaten here for years, along with friends and family. Really good food. Recently we had a Grub Hub order go wrong. I called La Fogata and Kris explained the technical glitch that caused it. Reasonable explanation that made sense. She then went a step further and made it right. Problem resolved. Minutes later I received a call from Javier, the manager, to personally apologize and also assure me they would make it right, which they did, and then some.Amazing service to go along with their great food. We are customers for life. 10/10
We went here for years and so often we took a break! A couple of years lol. After trying other places around we decided to come to La Fogata again and we are not disappointed. The food is still great, the service is still friendly and attentive, they make a really great spicy Bloody Mary! So we will be coming here again until we come so much we need a break!

The food is good. Chips were stale on the bottom of the bowl. The shredded beef tostada tasted good-but expensive for quantity of food. Other guests with me didn't complain of the taste or quantity of food. Our discussion was the increase in price. Waitress was attentative and continually checking if we needed items. The restaurant was clean and quiet.

Hidden gem in Hemet. I highly recommend. The staff is friendly, owners are amazing, clean and very nice atmosphere. The food was great. My husband got the carne asada fries which he loves and I got the chicken taquitos.

NEVER OFFENDED
This place smells like unwashed drunk illegal aliens , the 2 guys who walked in when we did were on the side of the building drinking tall cans of bud light then walked in with us and all you could smell was body odor and stale alcohol . Turns out he was the cook who heats up the frozen stuff . Couldn't get out of there fast enough . This place doesn't do much business at all i never see it even half full but yet has a handful of people ( all Hispanic no diversity whatsoever ) working . Is this place a front for something illegal besides immigration violations ? This place should be closed

I was honestly looking forward to this restaurant. Its was my first and last time going here. We were very sad to say food was bad. Out of four orders we only had a taco and a chimichanga and that was just because it was the only thing edible. Service was decent but a bit shocked that they didn't bother to ask why all plates were pretty much untouched.
Food not even close to the quality it used to be and they have got expensive. Service is still good and the atmosphere is traditional Hispanic theme.
