Is this place ever open? I've gone three times during business hours and it's always closed ..

This place is good! My bf and I tried on a whim looking for new sushi spots in town since there's limited here and this is the spot! It's remodeled nicely has a beautiful aesthetic. Way better food quality than Samurai, in my opinion. We only got sushi this time and 10/10 recommend we're going back to try the ramen I'm very particular about the quality of ramen always comparing to Tatsu ramen in Hollywood that's my favorite spot but it's so far away, hopefully I love it.

This is a wonderful Japanese bar and restaurant in Hemet. Fantastic food, and reasonably priced. We came in the day after the seating was remodeled and it has a lovely atmosphere. We ended up having the udon, with edamame, and at the owners suggestion the char siu tacos. The edamame was what you would expect, served warm with liberal salt. It went very welt with the beer. The char siu taco was absolutely delicious. It was presented with an egg that practically melts in the mouth. The pork was outstanding as well, very soft and flavorful, complemented by the shell and cabbage. The udon is some of the best I have ever had. It was so much food, too, for the price. The staff there was excellent and the owner was very friendly and talked about plans for the location. I certainly will be back. it's a wonderful little place we went to on impulse.

The service is great and the food was incredible! The server stroke up some friendly conversations such as me playing football and going to college. We had some potstickers as an appetizer and noticed they tasted great when they are dipped into the sauce that comes with it. I got the Udon and I’m telling you, best you’ll ever find in Hemet. It’s served at the perfect temperature and made my sickness feel way better. My mom got the Uniy, she loved it and she isn’t even a “meat” person. The eel melts in your mouth and goes great with the rice.

TLDR: Don't have a real menu just and Ipad but all the food that I tried was very good. Will be coming back.Like some of you I was a bit thrown off with the lack menu. I was lost and wasn't sure what to order. He showed me the ipad with some items they did look good but I was very hesitant.I'm glad I actually stayed and ate there! So we ordered a new item more of a per pound cajun food. It was very delicious, the season was really good and the shrimp and crawfish felt fresher than I've had in other restraunts. My got the Unagi, which tasted amazing, the eel was fresh and flavored perfectly. I will definitely be coming back to try more. The owner was very friendly and happy to serve us, made a few recommendations but overall was really nice and pleasant.

I lived in Japan 3 yrs. This cute, nice ambiance restaurant serves authentic Japanese dishes created by a Japan trained Japanese chef. He will even modify to any variation you request. I also had a Mt. Fuji mixed drink... Delightful and unique. You must visit here, often.

Decided to try out this spot in town instead of driving far and was not disappointed at all, magnificent service and delicious food, I highly recommend it.

great atmosphere, never felt this good at any bar ever!! Been to all sorts of bars all over the US and Mexico and none come close to this hidden gem! Honestly enjoy it while it's here, cuz a business like this will easily be a 5 star restaurant in any major city! too great of a bar!!!

My boy Kevin is the man he always takes good care of me and my friends. The chicken katsu quesadillas sound weird but are delicious real quality katsu the tuna bowl is really good as well I've never had a better Moscow mule anywhere and ask for the water of life shots, almost forgot about the shrimp I can't remember what it was called but it's a lightly battered shrimp with a honey taste the shrimp were huge and really tasty. Now for what needs improvement 1. actual printed menus last time I went I ordered from an iPad which was cool because you can see what it looks like but no prices 2. More help Kevin is usually the only one in there and he's taking the orders and making the drinks and makes some of the dishes as well which mean ls when it get busy your gonna wait awhile to get service 3. Printed receipts Kevin will literally sit with you when your done and itemize everything while sitting at your table and tell you prices as you go. If Kevin actually had some waiters or waitresses he could stick to making drinks which he's great at and he could go around making sure everyone is happy which he's also great at. All that being said with the way the place is operating now I could understand how a lot of people would be upset about the service and menu and no receipt with clear prices before paying but I still have a really good time every time I go and spend 100s of dollars every time if you have patience and like good mixed drinks and food I would definitely recommend going here just leave your friends who complain at home for this one

I don't post reviews often but when I met Kevin he was extremely hospitable and had great recommendations. I'd come back all the way from Chino just to seek that kind of service.

So, we almost didn't even try it because from the outside it looked closed. It's in a terrible location (from a foot traffic perspective). I'm assuming most of the customers find them on Yelp. We had GPS on and still drove by it. But again, once you find it, it looks closed. Anyways, we decided let's see if it's open. We walk in and man it didn't seem inviting. Dark, bunch of fans on so loud noise just from that. Super hole in the wall vibes. But who cares right? Some times hole in the walls are the best. So we decided to stay. No menus, my guy handed me a tablet with pictures of the food. No prices, no descriptions. So it's hard to decide what you want. Luckily the guy who worked there was overexcited to be there and gave some suggestions. Food was the best part of the whole experience, which is key. We had the sashimi platter. It was good not great. Though it was super fresh tasting. Food is fresh, but not sure I'd come back. Some one tagged it as a sushi bar and they don't have sushi.
